I'd do it again. Maybe next time do another itinerary to hit Skagway and Ketchican.

Food and Dining

Main dining room meals were satisfying but nothing that knocked my socks off. Beef was cooked to order but not to flavorful. Veal was tough and bland. Deserts were wonderful in MDR and Buffet. Salty Dog Grill burgers and dogs were on point, fresh, flavorful, buns fresh baked on the ship. Street chicken tacos were spicy, chicken was dry. Grilled Chicken sandwich was ok, but again the chicken itself was dry.
Buffet Prime Rib and BBQ chicken was very tasty. Other carving station items, pork loin was dry and bland. Buffet Meatballs served a few of nights, salisbury, BBQ and Chinese were my favorite.

Cabin / Stateroom

I booked the this most forward, port side cabin on Lido Deck 14 on purpose to be closer to food options, bars, pools, Movies under the Stars and it is below the Spa to minimal noise from above. Rough seas were a challenge on morning. Bed was more comfortable than home. I had no trouble getting to sleep in the comfy sheets and comforter. I'm missing that comfy bed and good night sleep after being home 4 days now. Cabin size was just right for two people to cruise in comfort.
Ship tip
Depending on the Roughness of the seas you will be sailing, Book a cabin mid ship and on deck 12 or lower if you are suseptible to sea sickness. Deck 12 is just below the Lido Deck 14 so noise of chairs moving can be heard in your cabin.
Mendenhal Glacier excursion, bus to and from the USFS park and Bus driver/tour guide Brad was great. Rained the whole time but we did not let that dampen the experience. The 45-60 min. round trip hike to Nugget Falls is doable. A Spring/Summer visit may provide less rainy weather.
Time was limited at this port stop, opted for a guided bus tour. Guide was funny, informative and even brought us back to port and swapped out buses since those on upper deck could see much since the AC/Heat was not working and windows were fogged. We got an extended tour. Kudos to that tour drive/guide.
