Review summary

the cool weather was a welcome treat and the stops were all great we felt the last one. All the stops except the last one has easy town access by walking and we enjoyed the small towns and shops

The Victoria stop is always a brief one...it is a requirement that all non US flagged ships must stop at a foreign port...it is why the Southern Californian and Hawaiian cruises must stop in Encinada...it's an old law intended to protect American shipping...but since most goods going from Los Angeles to San Francisco would travel by truck not ship...the law serves no purpose...and our Congress has not considered it an important issue...so for these required stops they stay a minimal amount of time...personally I prefer Vancouver over Victoria...they used to stop at both...
