20 Anniversary Cruise by MelissaJordan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This was a great trip. Freedom of the Seas is a beautiful ship and the Cruise Director Casey and all the staff was so much fun.  There's so much to do everyday. All the shows were great with very talented performers.  Loved the extra shows too, Journey Tribute Bad, magician, and comedians.

Fun short weekend cruise by msites106

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Freedom of the Seas

This was my first solo cruise and Royal didn’t disappoint. More of a Celebrity Cruises person, but this ships activities were really good. Not a fan of Royals higher price over Celebrity when you add everything up, but would totally go on the ship again.

Fun time on Freedom by tmustin

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Ship was fun and pretty. I feel food was better on HAL. Nightlife was pretty good. Enjoyed the big music/dance parties on the Promenade. Loved the 70’s disco events!! The shops & venues on the Promenade were great! Pizza place was so good. Wish the MDR food was more flavorful & more variety- especially in deserts.

My Wonderful “First” Cruise by Dzgreen91

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was my very first cruise although our first one was actually scheduled for July 4-8. When our flight to Orlando was canceled more than twice, we decided to take a spur of the moment cruise on Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas. We enjoyed this cruise and our upcoming cruise with excursions will be coming up soon on July 4th!

Great first cruise!!! by JonJeff

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Freedom of the Seas

For my first cruise I will say it was a nice experience. The first couple days it took me a while to get used to the motion of the ship but it was smooth sailing afterwards. The food was great and the ports were amazing. Meet some new friends too and enjoyed the shows. Can’t wait to see what it will be like after the redesign in 2020!!!

Best Portcalls Ever! by eskaysea

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Freedom of the Seas

The best port calls out of the 7 cruises we have been on. Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, and St. Maarten are all great. The ship is getting ready for refitting hopefully soon. Was told they will be closing Sabor, which is the best pay restaurant on the ship.

Better than a sharp stick in the eye by cruisetiludrop

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The weather for the week was poor. Cool and windy at some times altered some of our plans but it still was a cruise and we enjoyed ourselves anyway. The food and shows were above average which helped a lot given the weather was a downer.

Nice Ship...Food Could be Better!! by Tbear442

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The shop itself was very nice. However, the food was average and the service in the dining room was not at as high a standard as I would have expected. We really enjoyed the Irish Pub and the Pizza place. Or room was very nice. Would have liked free room service, as that is what we had in the past. Just seems that the quality of service has gone down in the past few years.

My 1st cruise: Eastern Caribbean repositioning cruise. by RobNCher

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We enjoyed our cruise immensely! Food & service was great, and it was awesome to be at sea for two days straight at 17 knots! Into a headwind!!! The wind on the helicopter deck above the bow was awesome! Great relaxation, but lots of walking & elevator rides to get to where we wanted to be. Deck 8 was great because we were only 3 decks below the Windjammer buffeteria, and the pools, and 3 decks above the Promenade.

Fantastic First Cruise for the Whole Family! by JLMoran

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This was our very first cruise ever, and it was a fantastic experience for everyone. We all agree that it was one of the best vacations we've ever had, and we're looking forward to the next one we can take. For my wife and me, that won't be too long as we're booked on Anthem for a trip to Bermuda this fall!

I love this ship, the Freedom Class line has so much to offer. We happened to cruise on Spring Break, we were told there was over 700 kids, I wouldn't have known. Captain was great and we enjoyed his sense of humor.
