Review summary

For my first cruise I will say it was a nice experience. The first couple days it took me a while to get used to the motion of the ship but it was smooth sailing afterwards. The food was great and the ports were amazing. Meet some new friends too and enjoyed the shows. Can’t wait to see what it will be like after the redesign in 2020!!!

Embarkation

This day was a bit more stressful than normal since we missed our original flight but I found another flight on Southwest and it was great the staff was friendly and they even helped celebrate mine and my sisters birthday.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining room had the best food I’ve ever had! The buffet was nice for a quick snack. The service in both was very good. Don’t leave your food unattended because it will get taken away lol Sprinkles was the best ice cream ever 😍

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The onboard activities were great. The pools were nice. The rock climbing wall was fun! The track was great for walking off all the food you ate lol

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Every show I saw was great. I enjoyed the comedy, jugglers, and especially the broadway show Marquee. The live music and the entire production was top notch. The lights and sound worked together and it wasn’t too loud. The ice skating show was very cool especially since the ship was rocking lol

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The staff really helped make my first cruise a great experience. They were helpful , friendly and personal. My room steward was so chill and kept our room looking nice in spite of our staff everywhere. The waiters at the dining room were great! I would recommend Ijero and Ramuel to anyone. They will have your table set for you once they figure how you like it, for example once I asked for hot tea they had it ready for me every night. Food was delivered in a timely fashion as well.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship doesn’t look that big in pictures until you are up close and you walking it. The deck alone is huge. Walking the ship from forward to aft will definitely burn some calories. The availability of restrooms was nice and they were always kept clean.

Ship tip

This city is great. It rained on embarkation day so we didn’t get to see much but what I did see I liked.

Oranjestad, Aruba

This was such a beautiful country. It was super windy though! We did a cool tour around the city and got to see almost the whole island from a giant cliff and the lighthouse was cool. I don’t remember the name of the excursion but do know Corinthian was a great tour guide. Very informative and fun.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

Walked around the cruise port. Very colorful buildings. Didn’t get to see the bridge though

Disembarkation

This was a nice process. We placed our luggage out the night before and found it easily in the terminal not damaged. We met in a showroom until it was our time to disembark. The only bad this is that we had to get off the ship 😂
