Review summary

The best port calls out of the 7 cruises we have been on. Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, and St. Maarten are all great. The ship is getting ready for refitting hopefully soon. Was told they will be closing Sabor, which is the best pay restaurant on the ship.

We were upgraded to an ocean view, but got a porthole cabin instead. Not worth the additional $250.

Ship tip

Cruise on it from Puerto Rico, because the port calls are better. The ship is getting refitted soon, so go then.

A porthole cabin IS an ocean view. We got a downgrade to one our last cruise due to overbooking balcony rooms. We much preferred the balcony rooms like we’ve always gotten in the past but they refunded my cruise fare for accepting the downgrade. But you’re right I wouldn’t pay for a porthole if I was interior. It’s not like you sit in bed looking out.
