If you have been around cruising and honestly think Carnival is the best way to go...don't go away mad, just go away lol.

Sorry you were bored, a cruise is what you make of it.

Yeah I am actually surprised I will be going back on the freedom after it gets out if dry dock because that's how much we loved it. We been on smaller and bigger and we love freedom..

It's too bad that you didn't enjoy your cruise, it looks like you prefer other lines. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Sounds like cruising is not for you.

I love RC. This will be 9th and 10th with them as we are doing a back-to-back cruise. I've met a lot of people that normally cruise Carnival but tried RC and they liked Carnival until they went on RC and said they would not go back on Carnival. It's personal preference. It's your vacation and money. Do what makes you happy.

We travel primarily for the itinerary, but have always had a good experience on Royal Caribbean. We were just on Adventure of the Seas and loved it. We found good variety and quality in the dining room and buffet. It’s not 5 star cuisine, but about the best you can expect when they are feeding thousands of people 3 meals a day for multiple days on end. The food was equivalent or better than what we had on Carnival and Holland America.

I don't know what all of the hype is about when it comes to Royal Caribbean, we feel the same way about the Allure. The best part of the entire week was the entertainment!! The food did NOT compare to the food on the 2 Carnival ships we've been on, the staff on RC did NOT compare to the staff on Carnival. RC was a big disappointment aside from the entertainment! A BIG waste of money!
