Review summary
This was our 5th cruise (4th with Royal Caribbean), we took our 10 year old daughter and 5 year old son and it was wonderful! The ship was perfect, very clean, excellent staff, and awesome food! Our kids had so much fun at Adventure Ocean every night which gave us some time to relax. While on the cruise, we visited the Spa, the shops, many of the bars, the ice skating rink, the Flowrider, and the sports deck. We ate room service for breakfast, visited the Windjammer for lunch, and enjoyed My Time Dining in the dining room at the same time with the same waitstaff each night. Everything was PERFECT! The only con is that our son couldn't participate in many of the activities that he wanted to because of his age :( Even though he was bigger in height and weight than some of the 6-7 year olds participating in Rock Climbing, Boogie Boarding, and Ice Skating, he was unable to do those activities because he was not 6 years old. We did take excursions in Grand Caymen and in Cozumel. In Grand Caymen, we took a tour that included a visit to the Turtle Farm, the Rum Cake Factory, the town of Hell, and swimming with Sting Rays. The stop at the Rum Cake Factory was a waste of time, and we expected the swimming with sting rays to be a controlled environment, but it was not. It was in the middle of the ocean with wild sting rays and our kids were scared to death! In Cozumel, we did a Dune Buggy tour with snorkeling, a stop to see crocodiles, and a beach break, and it was GREAT! The kids had a blast riding around the island in the buggy, and my wife and I had so much fun driving it!Ship experiences
