Review summary

This was a unique itinerary and we loved most of the ports of call. One day at sea would have given us a break as we were exhausted at the end of it. Redirecting us to Zadar from Bari was not as smooth as it could have been - no excursions to do so we just got off and walked around. Ship is very large so was comfortable. Some of the ports were too small to handle 3-4 large cruise ships at a time (Corfu was the most crowded).

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was easy and moved quickly. RCCL processes a lot of people very efficiently

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Buffets were great. Dining room dishes were inconsistent - some were good and some were not.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots to offer and no real lines

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Good performers, lots of fun.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Baldev, Kirin, Cassandra and Utomo were all really great. They took our special order requests with stride and worked very hard to keep all their guests satisfied. They were very attentive to our requests and remembered our preferences.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Cabin areas were quiet and everything was easily accessible and clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Size was larger than expected. They split the beds and unlocked our connecting door quickly enough. Bed linens appeared unclean but were likely lint or pills.

Ship tip

Learn where everything is so you don't get lost. Pay attention to the lounge chairs, they can stick out into the walkway. One of our group fell because there was traffic and she didn't see the lounge chair leg.

Ports of call

Split, Croatia

4 out of 5
Open air bus tour and diocletian's palace was OK.

Bari, Italy Did not visit port

We were routed to Zadar instead. That was an OK town. Not much to see.

Dubrovnik, Croatia

5 out of 5
Game of Thrones tour which was great. Beautiful city. Crowded and hilly but worth visiting.

Corfu, Greece

4 out of 5
Pretty island but very crowded.

Messina, Sicily

5 out of 5
Beautiful island. Took the Taormina, Etna and jewelry tour and it was great. LOVED Sergio our guide.

Naples, Italy

5 out of 5
Lots to see in this area. Went to Sorrento, Pompeii and loved it. Busy day but worth it.

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

5 out of 5
Ended here but love Rome!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and quick disembarkation. Well oiled machine getting so many people on and off the ship.

Sounds like a great itinerary. We did that on the Celebrity beyond this past September.
