Didn't have a good set of expectations going in. This 10 day balanced itinerary turned out to be perfect, with the right amount of sea and port days. The ports themselves were interesting and diverse; and we were lucky with perfect weather throughout. The Panama Canal itself did not disappoint. This is an experience that pictures, video, or words can't really do justice to translate the overall amazement of. It's the most interesting, historical, and marvelous engineering experience to have been able to enjoy. The staff and crew of the MS Eurodam did their part to make sure it was made as memorable as possible. Well done!
Embarkation

Traffic into the port was a nightmare. However, that couldn't be avoided with 7 other ships besides ours in port. Once we arrived, though, it was very smooth and we were on-board within 30 minutes.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Mostly dined in the MDR. Seating never an issue, service mostly very expedient. Staff is more than attentive to any needs. Food quality excellent. Pinnacle Grill experience was incredibly wonderful. Buffet, was usually busy as expected, but plenty of availability of food and a wide variety of options.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Enjoyed the lectures on the Panama Canal, and Mystery of Ships, a coffee chat with the Runaround Kids, trivia games, and America's Test Kitchen. All were excellent and appropriate length. Was disappointed to hear that Holland America is discontinuing the ATK.
Entertainment

Loved the Runaround Kids show. Not that impressed with the Beatles tribute performers - just okay.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I loved that you never passed a single crew or staff member that didn't greet you with a smile and or hello. And that was every day, and in every capacity. Greatly appreciated, and certainly added to the overall experience.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
As usual, took a little while to remember the decks that went end to end vs those that didn't. Loved the exquisite artwork and the entire ship was spic and span. There were always cleaning activities apparent when in port.
Cabin / Stateroom

A little cozier than I was expecting, but it was fine for our needs. It was quite clean.
Ship tip
On Panama Canal Day, the bow will be open but very crowded. For the same view, go up one level to the 6th deck.
Interesting excursion to prevent extra time in the airport for our return flight. The guide and driver both excellent and engaging. Not really that many different sites to see, but the boat ride was enjoyable. Overall, a great way to see the city.
Beautiful island. Getting back on the tender a bit of a nightmare, but that could not be helped. The food provided was excellent, and the day was relaxing and scenic.
The port area was just okay. Shopping and getting around was easy enough. Took the evening excursion on the Kukunooko Party Bus. Experience some authentic Aruba nightlife. Dinner venue was very nice, the food just so-so. Really enjoyed the champagne toast on the beach. That was a nice touch. Overall, a fun host and fun evening out.
Took the aerial tram of the rain forest. Excellent tour. The rain forest was incredible. Our driver and tour guide went over and above to make sure we got a full experience and education of the area.
