Review summary

A nice, relaxing cruise with some beautiful scenery. The cabin was well maintained and the staff and crew seemed to be very concerned about the welfare of the guests.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a Holland America representative waiting for us at the airport luggage carousel with a luggage cart even though we didn't book our flights through Holland America. The embarkation itself was quick and effortless.

We enjoyed all of the dining venues and were impressed by efforts to accommodate the food allergies of some of the members of our party.

The ship was delayed en route to the port by bad weather so the ship got in late and pretty much everything was closed. Oh well, if weather delays are going to upset you maybe you should limit yourself to River cruises.

The luggage valet service offered by the port of Seattle made this a great experience. We just walked off the ship and then picked up the luggage back at our home airport.
