I wish we had chosen a different cruise line. I felt like this cruise was tailored to senior citizens so not a good choice for those in their 40s with teenagers. Food was good, not great; but overall we enjoyed ourselves and the company of the family that went with us.

Food and Dining

The main dining room was okay. The waiters were not personable like I'd experienced from other cruise lines. Food was pretty good in main dining room. We never tried the other restaurants since they cost more money; also something new since other cruise lines included all the restaurants in up front price. :(
Onboard Activities

I never got in the pool however, I did feel it a couple of times and was impressed that it was warm water considering we were in Alaska....I did take part in the spa day they offered which was amazing! No rock climbing walls on this ship. Basketball courts were on top deck and too windy to enjoy.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
NOT a good cruise to take with teenagers; they were bored out of their minds. They spent their 7 days in the room. :( There wasn't any shows during the day while at sea; only at night time and even then they saved the "best for last" on Thursday and Friday, so there wasn't anything to do rest of the week for couples in their 40s. However, the BB Kings show/ singing was pretty fun but they sang the same songs every night. :(
Children's Programs

We were not made aware that there was a club for children (ages 7-17) until next to last day. But then I wondered why my 14 year old would want to hang out or be in a club with a 7 year old. ? Poor planning in my opinion.

Ship Quality

We smelt sewer about 2 days into the trip and for the remainder of the week. We notified the guest services and they tried to fix but it never went away. This was very frustrating considering we made extra money to have a balcony room.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very tight quarters for 4 people. I kept hitting my head on the bunk bed that our 19 year old daughter was sleeping on that was over the top of our queen bed. Our son slept on the sofa bed but when it was laid out we couldn't get in and out of the balcony. Very poor set up!
Ship tip
If you are going on cruise to shop for jewelry this cruise is for you; but otherwise, I'd choose a different cruise line.
I loved everything about Seattle except for the gay pride that is shoved down your throat. There are rainbow flags everywhere and obvious homesexuals! Not something I'm used to seeing or approve of. The sightseeing was great though. We went to Pike Market, Space Needle, Underground Seatlle and the Ferris Wheel. We did a A LOT of walking but stayed at Motif which is a hotel in great walking distance to everything.
We loved the Eurodam, and yes, we are older than you but it's all about the itinerary, not so much what you do on board during sea days. HAL has some of the best Caribbean ports of call so that makes up for the sea days.
