This was the first cruise we have ever taken and it couldn’t have been better. Thank you Holland America Lines for making our trip so enjoyable and memorable.

Not interested.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
They couldn’t have been more personable, helpful, and willing to help out when we needed them.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Those that kept our stateroom were there throughout the day assuring everything was clean and immaculate.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was kept spotless, the right size, and the bed was very comfortable. We had to leave those that cleaned our our room and extra tip at the end because they did such an outstanding job!

Ship tip

Enjoy your trip, take in excursions at each port, and get ready to have a great time of your life.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

4 out of 5
We didn’t take in an excursion at Seattle. We have visited Seattle several times before.

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Our time in Juneau seemed short even though we were able to take a canoe trip to Mendenhall glacier. We had a delightful time seeing the glacier up close and seeing Nugget falls.

Cruise Glacier Bay

5 out of 5
Enjoyed getting up close to Margerie glacier and watching the brown bears along the way.

Sitka, Alaska

5 out of 5
Alain, we would have liked spending more time in Sitka. Sitka is a beautiful place. The Kodiak trip was delightful and the food was out of this world.

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Thé Wilderness Exploration Cruise and Crab Feast was the best! The guide called in eagles to almost take fish out of her hand. The eagles would catch it fish as she threw it up in the air. We were able to handle the live crabs from the traps as she discussed their biology and life as a crab.

Victoria, British Columbia

4 out of 5
Yes, we took the Butchart & Butterfly excursion. We have been here before two other times. We didn’t get into port until 6:00 PM so we only had about forty-five minutes before it was dark. It would have been better had we had more daylight.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very orderly and organized. It took very little time to get on the bus to go to the airport.

Looking forward to boarding for Alaska in July.

Glad you enjoyed it. For more time in the ports, do a one-way itinerary rather than Roundtrip from Seattle. They have to shorten the port times to get back to Seattle and also stop at Victoria only to comply with the Jones Act.
