Review summary

The entertainment was bad. Only 1 night they had something good to go see. The B. B. KING stage was great the whole trip, beside the drunk kids that came into the room. The food was great, but the service was slow in the dining room. The room service was great. The spa was too expensive, they wanted too much for the pool. Overall, I don't know if I would take another cruise.

Stewards were great. Just the right size. Since you do not have any light coming in, we sleep late not knowing the time.

Ship tip

Book through and get a free meal at the grill.

Thanks for sharing your cruise.

I doubt if Norwegian is better than HAL or RCCL or Carnival. Our NCL cruise on Jewel was less than impressive.

Don't give up on cruising. Try one of the others unless you just don't like the lifestyle. We've cruised RCCL about 20 times but have also cruised Carnival (once), HAL (twice- had no issues), and NCL once. We have future cruises booked with all of them including Eurodam. Maybe your experience was just a one off or maybe cruising isn't for you. And of course there are expensive options like Oceania, Silver Seas, etc.

Try Princess or Norwegion. They do it better.
