Worse Cruise by sexyc0307

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I do  not recommend this crusie to anyone. My debit card was overcharged tremedously. The line for food was very long. The service was slow. Their was not a variety of food. After 2am their was no place to get food. It was nothing for the 23-35 age group to do. I would never vacation with royal carribean ever again.Angry

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was our first cruise and we all realy enjoyed the cruise. Overall the cruise is very relaxed and comfortable experience. It have very friendly staff and excelent service. Plenty of food and entertainment. Could add a bit more food variety. The Royal Caribbean pay a good attention to the cleanliness of the ship. The ship is big and so not much turbulance.

Oh My God, we needed this trip badly! by ako

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

My husand and I had a wonderful time.  We did not realize how exhausted and overwhelmed with winter blues were were.  We ate, slept, laughed, ate,  slept, laughed, and did it over and over until that last morning. I even exercised daily.  I am planning to do the same thing next year, same time, same location, same fun.

Thanks SO MUCH!

Best ever by ringgirl

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Was first time cruising with Royal Carribean! Been on two others and this was the best of all! I would recommend this cruise line highly! Cleaniness was great, waitstaff the best, food was just awesome! Drinks were the very best! Only complaint I had was the island music they played on the boat! I thought that they need more rock n roll and country!

Fun Cruise! by wanrickusa

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was our first experience with Royal Caribbean. We had 3 interior rooms, Deck 8 was great, but one of our rooms were in deck 3 , so for that reason I am giving a 4 stars. We tried so hard to get 3 rooms together and they couldn't make it happen. For a family of 3 kids and 3 adults , this trip was not fun walking 10x a day from top deck 8 in the front to bottom back on deck 3 all day long...

We were expecting a little bit more from it. The Staff was great and always so friendly and very helpful. The cruise ship itself was a clean and it looked smaller comparing to other cruise that we had cruised before. The kids loved the pool deck were the kiddie pool was perfect for the parents to keep their eyes on the little ones. The dinning was very good, our servers was great , 5 stars for them. The food itself was not the best, nothing extraordinary.  Overrall we had an amazing time!

Had a great cruise! by cmkulp

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The cruise was a great experience...a little short...but that's not a complaint we just wanted to be onboard longer!!  :)  The only complaint was the water in our cabin!!  I don't know if it was a problem with the whole water system or if it was on our floor (deck 7) or just our cabin (7640) but it smelled like rotten eggs!!  We would use bottled water to brush our teeth and almost hated taking a shower in it!!  The bathroom always smelled especially when the door was closed for a long period of time.  Something really needs to be checked to see what the problem was.  I am going on the exact same cruise on the same ship in October...I sure hope the problem is rectified by then!!

The Worst Trip We've Ever Taken by bishy5025

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

It was a horrible waste of time. Music too loud, ship too crowded, food horrendous!!

The movie Frozen was blasting on the screen at one end of the deck and hip hop music blaring at the other end of same deck. Singer and musicians in lounge were second rate.

The food was indescribable. The buffet was terrible, the dining room was just as disapointing. Rolls were old, caesar salad tasted like water. Each meal was worse than the other.

We've cruised before and since being home from this trip, we booked a cruise to Portugal and Spain.

WE WILL NEVER BOOK WITH ROYAL CARIBBEAN EVER AGAIN!!

This was an amazing cruise. The service was unbelievable.  The people wait on you hand and foot and pick up after you constantly.  Coco cay was beautiful and very clean. Service was great there as well.  We're already planning our next trip!

Non-stop Action by Jossette

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We did not expect so many activities.  Non-stop food, dancing, shows, gambling, shopping, laughing and meeting interesting people.  I been on a cruise before, but it did not compare to this.  I will be back!

4th Cruise in a row Coco Cay cancelled! by douglasuzy

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We have taken this cruise five times in the past.  Just once did we actually go to Coco Cay.  Will look for another weekend cruise that has a better set up for getting to their private island.

The salad bar at Park Place was great.  Otherwise, the food overall was fair.

We will be on Freedom of the Seas in June for a graduation trip.  We are hoping for a better experience.

good working staff by linyouchen

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

we lived in 8061 and for some reason, the water is leaking, then we reported to the staff, they all acted very fast and helped us to switched to another room on the 3rd floor and the manager promised to make compensation for inconvenience they brought to us, and indeed, they did it. very amazing!

our dining room is on deck 4, #190. the lady in service is very kind to us, even brought to us Chinese menu. her service is good, fast and satisfying. and she even prepared a surprise for one of my friend's son, very considerate. i like her so much.

Overall a great cruise. The director and staff were great and friendly. We enjoyed all the talent and effort put into the shows. Great job. The food was good and sevrers were exelent. The only complaint would be the drink prices were a little high. Thanks for a good trip!

First cruise by thompsonkj32004

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Everyone raved about the food but that was from another cruise line. I thought RC was supposed to be the "premier line." Ship was clean but the dinner menu would only have 2-3 changes daily. I was not very impressed. I will try the other cruise line next.

Other cruise choises by mraul41

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

No as I expected. No fridge in the room. There is no 24 room service and when you call no one answers. Winjamer cafe..OVERCROWDED. No greeting when you get into the ship to guide you where your state room is located.  I'll give this cruise experience a 2 out of 10, based on my other 2 experiences with cruising.

a very good birthday cruise by charmaineboothe

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This cruise was my 50th birthday cruise with me ,my 17 yr old son and my husband. From the minute we stepped on board we were impressed with the decor and ambiance we encountered. We made to the 9th fl,which was the lido deck and everyone was pleasantly enjoying the live Caribbean band and the buffet lunch set out for the cruisers. The food was very good. It was presented nicely and there was plenty varieties to go around. We ate and looked around the ship for awhile and then set out to go to our stateroom which was ready for us when we got there. Our room was clean and cozy and most of all we had a floor to ceiling window with a wow view of the ocean when sailing.I was very relaxed on this trip I don't think I could have asked for anything more on this cruise.I ate at the dinning room every night and found the meal very tasty each night. Our waiters knew us by name even when passing us in public places. This trip was well worth it and I will recommend it to anyone looking to go away for a quick weekend getaway to the Bahamas.Wasn't a brand new ship but the service was top class.I will definitely do this again.

Royal Caribbean cruise by shirog06

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We had a nice time on your cruise. I found it upscale to "Carnival" but not to "MSC". Our complaints are minimal. It would have been nice to know we needed cash on your island and that the local stores in Nassau closed early. I was surprised that the punch on our snorkelling excursion was not complimentry. That was very unusual as again I did not take cash. Usually postcards of the ship and pens are supplied in the rooms; no big deal but finding a pen on the last evening was.

On booking the trip we found that the staff were very congenial except for one but they did not know specifics re children having passports and were told we needed a notarized letter from their Mother, but didn't. We scoured your info on the computer and found it or the staff need to be updated. We found the entertainment mediocre and were surprised there were no showers by the pools.

I'm sorry if I sound too negative; but, having cruised before it is hard not to compare. We did have fun and the weather was great!

Poor Customer Service by sherry8832

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

First at all, let me say to the 30 something year old cruisers: if you are looking to swing and put on public shows of porn, please do not do it poolside where our children are playing. Go to your room or consider a swingers club....that's just rude and the hundreds of teens on board had more class.... Nobody was willing or able to help you unless you were inquiring about their particular department. Sometimes they couldn't even do that. I went to guest relations and they did a couple of little things for my kids to make up for it..AND THE KIDS PRO GRAY SUCKED.

Not so hot! by waightasecond

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I was very disappointed in this cruise.  Going to Cococay (Royal Carribbean's private island) was the biggest reason I chose this cruise.  The weather was windy so it would've been dangerous to 'ferry' us to the island.  The first time I was on this cruise, instead of going Tuesday, they switched the day at sea to Tuesday and went to Cococay on Thursday.  This time, they just skipped Cococay, so we had 2 days at sea.  Your Time Dining is a joke!  You have to make a reservation the night before and you don't have the schedule of activities before you need to make the reservation so you can't make an informed decision.  Staff was, as always, AWESOME!  Not their fault this was a disappointment.
