Photography was terrible..need more ice cream machines on both ends of the ship... Staff was great and very helpful. Maybe create a better karaoke list...there was only 1 song that I knew...when I asked the if they could play a certain song. .they said NO..they did not know it..and the list had maybe 20 songs altogether. ...and no the length of the event should.be 2hours.long

Jan. review by tldavid

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was the third trip with this line and everything was very good.  The cruise industry should try to make a one price event rather than nickel and diming you to death or folks who like to travel will move to the all inclusive type venues.

RCL Enchantment of the Seas by rshoup2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

New terminal.  Meals and meal service.  Shows.  Many deck chairs.  Ship was upgraded.  The check-in was too confusing at the terminal.  The Honor system did not work.  Long delay.  Suggest giving out queue numbers.

EXCELLENT CRUISE!!! by tylishaharden

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We totally enjoyed the Enchantment of the Seas cruiseline in every way! It was the absolute best cruise and I highly recommend The Enchantment of the Seas cruiseline to everyone I know! The crew staff gave outstanding service and had great personalities.  Already planning a Cruise for our next vacation.  We really enjoyed the great food that was available all the time. There are always guests onboard with health problems and sometimes food is a lifeline. The dining staff in the My Fair Lady dining room and other dining areas took nothing for granted to ensure total guest satisfaction. Great crew training and excellent customer service. If anyone needs a vacation with total pampering, we definitely recommend the Enchantment of the Seas ...Royal Caribbean Cruise Intl.   Happy

Perfect by sazinmi

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

From beginning to end, this cruise was perfect. The weather could not have been better. The seas were calm, the crew was attentive and entertaining. I didn't know what to expect on Cocoa Day and was pleasantly surprised. I wish there were more cabanas to rent or that the shore excursion desk attendant would have let me know about the cabanetts. But we had a great day exploring the island and snorkeling in the clear blue waters.

In Nassau, we had booked the "Resort for a day" at the Hilton and were not disappointed. We enjoyed a great beach and delicious food within walking distance of the ship. I've traveled extensively and am used to the vender hawking near the port. But the narrow sidewalks and busy street traffic made it difficult to walk comfortably to our destination, especially when we set off to the Queen's Staircase. I do enjoy seeing how life is in other parts of the world but feel that this was just locals taking advantage of tourist, not every day Bahamian life.

Overall it was a great vacation away from the freezing temps and snow of the North. Royal Caribbean is great for young and old alike with something for everyone.

Enchantment of the Seas by kgsearcher

Really loved the ship and it's crew. Was not real impressed with the Bahamas as a cruise destination. Found the people to be very pushy and not really much to do expect for Atlantis and that was way to expensive for what you got to do. As a family we don't drink or go clubbing. We don't gamble. So only the beach or the water park were our options. We did the Atlantis water park and was not really impressed. It cost way to much and it was not very big. When you have gone to Schlitterbaun or a Six Flags water park, Atlantis was not that impressive. As for Coco Cay, the beach was nice and the BBQ they served was great. Again the little water park was a joke. The tide was going out so at one point the park was not usable. The cost of a snorkel and fins was overpriced. Should be able to rent those for not more than 20 dollars. The only fault with the ship was that they needed to do better at making their french fries, even the kids would not eat them. The other food was great and the crew was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent trip by sheilagrammyto3

Everything was perfect and very relaxing trip.  The employees went overboard to make things great both in the staterooms and any where else on the ship.

It was a cruise by cwpcc

Didn't really want to give a whole three stars 2 1/2 would have been plenty.  We've cruised 4 different cruise lines from Carnival to Disney and this ranked toward the bottom.  Food - okay but hard to pay extra for some.  Shows - okay but enough of "Singing in the rain"! Liked the Juggler and the Newlywed Game.  Not as much offered during the day as other cruise lines.  The staff was excellent.  Our asst waiter was especially great and the Maitre D' took special notice of our grandson each night.  Cannot say enough good about the staff.  Room was very small but okay.  Nothing exceptional and beds were hard.  Grown daughter slept on ceiling sleeper and said it was very hard.  But hey!  It was a cruise so how bad could it be!  We will take more cruises but probably not on RC

As this was my first cruise it was a totally awesome experience!!  I was so impressed with the way the staff is so attentive and the food was excellent.  I can't say enough about how great this experience was for me.  I especially enjoyed the shore excursion on Coco Cay where I went on jet skis for the first time.  All the shows and entertainment were wonderful a well!!

Pre tipping has changed the whole cruise experience. by realestateroutt

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I have been on about a dozen cruises in my life. After about a 5 year break from cruising we book a cruise recently. At first we thought the pre-tipping was a convenience. However, the whole cruise experience has changed dramatically since last time I cruised this cruise line. The bartenders were EXCEPTIONALLY slow considering most people had prepaid for their drinks and tips on the bar. They did not seem to be moving with any since of urgency. It was quite a contrast from before when you paid per drink. They used to hustle and provide quick service.

Enchantment review by sckell

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Overall we  enjoyed our cruise.  The staff from the room attendant to the bartenders were very friendly.  The service at dinner was fantastic but the food variety or selection was a little lower level than our past cruises.  The tip automatically added to each purchase made it uncomfortable at times because there was a space to put a tip in where you sign.  Felt guilty if I did not add another tip.  Also, there was a $12 per person / per day tip charge for the employees automatically added to your bill..... but on the last day there were tip envelopes put on the bed.  Very uncomfortable.  The Enchantment of the Seas is an older boat but still had plenty of room for all guests.

WHEELCHAIR ASSISTANCE by mckechniecharlo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

SadSTAFF DID NOT TAKE NAMES OF THOSE WHO ARRIVED AT ASSIGNED WAIT AREA UPON ARRIVAL.  WE WERE THERE EARLIER THAN MOST YET WERE THE VERY LAST OFF THE SHIP.  THEN THE WHEELCHAIR WAS TAKEN BACK ON SHIP AT THE LUGGAGE TERMINAL AND MY FRIEND (96) HAD TO WALK TO AND WAIT AT IMMIGRATION WHICH WAS SLOW.  WE FELT THAT THE STAFF COULD HAVE TAKEN HER RIGHT THROUGH TO IMMIGRATION AND OUT THE DOOR AS OTHER SHIPS HAVE DONE ESPECIALLY SINCE WE WERE THE ABSOLUTE LAST WHEELCHAIR PASSENGER TO LEAVE.

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Very 1st cruise was on this ship in 1998.  This is 4th time on this ship & the remodeling was impressive.  The only complaint is the terminal at the Port.  No signs getting in or out of the Port.

The ship by jnieubuurt

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Over all I think they have cut back a lot in what they offer. $10.00 for a glass of wine is just silly. They make so much on alcohol and gambling seems like they have gotten greedy on what they can offer. We  could not go the CoCoCay because of weather, not their fault but we slept all day nothing to do. They were not prepared. Guess they liked us being on ship for drinking and gambling they could make more money. Entertainment on this ship does not even compare to other ships. Mostly comedy only one real show last night. Nothing much to do. They could have offered a free game of bingo or a free drink or move games like the marriage game or something else since we could not get off ship. I do not want to go on Enchantment of the Seas ever again.

We had an excellent cruise!! The service was wonderful...food fantastic!  Weather did not allow us to safely go onto Coco Cay but the ship crew did a wonderful job of "things to do instead".  We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves.

THANK YOU ROYAL CARIBBEAN!!  Great job as always!

Woah Rocky Boat by kkat

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

overall great cruise.  this one in particular rocked back and forth the WHOLE time due to wind.  But it was still fun with plenty of things to do.  Pools were too cold to swim in.  Our Stateroom attendent Pat was ALWAYS there to help with anything we needed.  Bartender service was HORRIBLY SLOW.  Was in the highest up bar overlooking the boat.  There were 2 people at the bar including me, took him 8 minutes (we timed it) to then inform me that the dos XX i ordered, which i could plainly see sitting in boxes on the counter, were not cold.  Then another 3 minutes to open a corona.  WOw.  You're a terrible bartender.  PS, this was at about 3pm in the afternoon, 1 other lady at the bar. Her drinks also took an alarminly long time

Lots of promises but nothing delivered by orlandoperozzi

First promised that money would be put in an onboard account. NEVER happened. When I spoke to them they were going to refund the money to us. Still waiting!! We never stopped at COCO Cay! Half of the cruise ports were overlooked. All in all this was a bust!
