Overall, we had a wonderful cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas. The staff were considerate and helpful. Our stateroom was wonderfully equipped and kept in tip-top condition.

Friendly people made the cruise by RichardW6

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I have been a cruises with two other lines - I found the Enchantement of the Seas lacking when I compared similarties between the three other ships I have been on. For what we paid it was ok - If we paid much more as others had it would be lacking.

Always Wonderful Cruises by Abby

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I loved the balcony rooms, we have stayed on the back of the ship and on the side and both were equally enjoyable. Always lots to do. And love the formal nights and formal dining. Everyone is always very accomodating and enjoyble to work with.

My teens were enchanted! by GeraldineR1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Royal Caribbean worked hard to give us a great cruise experience. We felt surrounded by luxury and personal attention. I particularly enjoyed not having to worry every minute about my teens': they were capably entertained by your crew members both in and out of their special space.

An Excellent Cruise by BillP6

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I liked the layout of the ship. From the 4th deck to the 8th, you could walk from one end to the other without having to go up or down stairs. All crew members were helpful and courteous.

Pretty nice cruise. by DonnaH11

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship was very nice overall. A little too much glitz. Very crowded. Outside stateroom was a nice size and very nicely decorated. Having a window was definitely a plus. Food was pretty good but not fantastic. Set dining times was a minus. Freestyle dining offered on other cruise lines is nicer. Alcoholic beverages were reasonably priced. Food at the buffet in the Windjammer Cafe was usually very good. Dining room food varied. Waiters and assitant waiters in the dining room were excellent. Stateroom attendant was good but not great. Would skip the offshore excursions in the future. Got bumped to a later one in Jamaica and was disappointed at most of the time was spent at shopping malls. Not what we thought we were signing up for. Also, not docked at ports long enough.

Good Cruise. by JamesY1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This cruise was fun. It was our 3rd, and it is hard not to have fun on a cruise. I wish that there were more activties for teens and young adults. Art auctions and bingo just don't do anything for me. The Adventure Ocean program is better suited for younger children, the teens didn't have many activities. Tender service is terrible. They wait for a full load before leaving. This can mean a wait of 20 minutes. Add that time to the time already spent waiting in line to board the tender and frustration quickly sets in. Bar service is lacking. Unless you were planted at the bar ordering alcholic drinks, it was sometimes hard to get service. The bar service on deck was almost strictly limited to the selling of the 'drink of the day'. The shops on board had great prices on some items; liquor, cigarettes and jewelry seemed to have good prices, but clothing, souveneirs and necessities were very overpriced.

First Cruise by Tom12

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We thought the ship was nice however it felt like the ship could have used a good cleaning. Most of the carpeting was stained and smelled a bit musty. Also the entire aft end of the ship from staterooms 7554 and aft on all decks had a horrible odor that smelled like sewage. This caused us to have to change rooms while underway. Also, we didn't care too much for all the rednecks on board. It felt like we were attending a tatoo convention at times.

The ship in general was wonderful, and c by StephenK5

Sail date: /
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The first night , our anniversary, the dinner accomodations were messed up. The personnel at the door of thye general dining room was clueless. Upon going to guest relations and speaking at length with Mr. Lopes, only then was the atmosphere enhanced. In addition the staff on the guest relations desk truly lacks traing in smiling, greeting and most of all empathy. My wife lost a very expensive bracelet of which I believe Carmin handled the report and seemed to care less. We still have not been notified, after calling the number given, about the ships search, a letter, I guess, is forthcoming. Our room attendant was great CHEERS TO OSWALD. The procedure for leaving the ship also was a downer. We sat in the theater for two hours, no music, video ,TV something. No beverages-just the same repeated Welcome to FL. Then another long wait to go through customs --not even a seat if an older or ill person wanted to sit. We truly love RCC, but the staff for instance the new I believe Vietnam or Phillipine female at Guest Relations had zero personality and at on point just diappeared when i was looking for Mr. Lopes.

more than I expected by MaryP14

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was my first cruise so I really didn't have any expectations. The Enchantment of the seas exceeded all of them. The food was delicious. The breakfast and lunch buffet had a variety of foods to offer and it was all good. The overall service of the enchantment was truly extraordinary, everybody was very friendly and helpful. The entertainment onboard the ship was exceptional. I would compare it to any show on Broadway. I have recommended the Royal Carribean cruise line to all my friends. I look forward to another cruise onboard another superb cruise ship from the Royal Carribean.

Best Cruise Ever by DavidL14

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The price of the cruise as very reasonable compared to some other cruises we have been on, yet we liked everything about it better. We had excellent service from Cruises Only, and from support at Royal Caribbean. The online check in was a great time saver. The ship was great, with a wonderful show room. There were many great bands playing every evening in several ballrooms and clubs. The service and food was excellent too. They had top quality shows every night, and we were on stage as contestants in "The Love and Marrage Game". That was great fun, with lots of laughs. They video taped it and played it the next day on the ships TV system. My wife and I were STARS for a day. They had karaoke, bingo, a casino and lots of other activities. The last activity of the cruise was called "Quest" If you go on this cruise, don' t miss that. It was a blast.

FANTASTIC CRUISE by EvelynG1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

THIS WAS MY 2ND CRUISE ON ROYAL CARRIBEAN, 1ST ON ENCHANTMENT OF THE SEAS, BUT IT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE FROM THE TIME OF ARRIVAL TO TIME OF DEPARTURE. THE STAFF DID EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE HAD A GREAT TIME. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND THE ENTERTAINMENT WAS ALSO GREAT. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS WHATSOEVER EXCEPT THAT THE TIME WENT BY TOO QUICKLY.

A Million Dollar Cruise on a Budget by DianeP1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We recently sailed on the Enchantment of the Seas for the first time, and all I can say is "Wow!". We had no idea what to expect. First Star Restaurants, a fantastic Pool area and a Fabulous Nightclub made this cruise feel like we were Royalty. We really like Royal Caribbean's style, service, and innovative ships, and the Enchantment did not disappoint. Two new dining choices were really excellent. The Windjammer buffet really isn't a "buffet"; it's like a cool marketplace/food court with many choices, stations you can approach from all sides (so no endless line!). Very wide-open and airy feeling. We loved all the nightlife options. The shows were great but we really enjoyed the new Latin club, Boleros, the Champagne Bar and the live music at Schooner's Pub. Felt like a totally different night out, every single night. The new Seattle's Best coffee shop and the new Ben and Jerry's didn't hurt, either! The new ship features are most apparent on the pool deck, truly one of the most beautiful we've ever seen. The multi-color splash pool and suspension bridge are amazing, but the best new element has to be the Oasis Bar. Right in the middle of the pool area, the new bar has panoramic ocean views (and barstools facing the ocean) and a new section behind the bar with a glass floor that fans out over the water. If you're not afraid of heights, it's an amazing sight! Our cabin was cozy and the bed made us sleep like logs (nice and comfy). Lots of new storage elements have been added, easy to unpack and feel like there was a place for everything. Overall we have to say the ship was really impressive, the staff was wonderful, and even if you've sailed on the Enchantment before, she's worth a second look.
