My teens were enchanted!

Sail Date: October 05, 2006

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

Royal Caribbean worked hard to give us a great cruise experience. We felt surrounded by luxury and personal attention. I particularly enjoyed not having to worry every minute about my teens': they were capably entertained by your crew members both in and out of their special space.

Pros: not having a care in the world

Cons: The shore excursion in Cozumel

We went on an excursion to the archaelogical site at tulum. It was a poor choice for the following reasons: the "lunch" provided was actually a cardboard box with a small sandwich, cookie, muffin, and packet of saltine crackers. Since there are adequate fast food facilities at the site, why not save us the cost of this "lunch", as we had to buy anyway. 2. First we went on a ferry ride, then walked 7 blocks to the buses, then a 1/2 hour bus ride - all to visit the site for less than two hours. 3. The tour guide was more interested in selling souvenirs for his friends and telling bad jokes than giving us information about mexico.
