An Excellent Experience by HelenS7

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I have cruised on the Enchantment of the Seas and also her sister ship-the Grandeur of the Seas. Both ships had excellent accomodations and service. The courtesy and friendliness of the staff made the trip quite enjoyable. It was an excellent vacation onboard and in ports.

A perfect cruise by RhondaA2

It was a smaller ship but I loved it. I loved having all the windows on every level. You always had a view of the ocean.

<img class='agent-replacement' src='/images/hideagent.png'> - Simply the BEST by BarbaraD20

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This ship is very old and had a terrible smell for most of the cruise (not sure what this was due to). It did not really have much to offer passengers to do during the terrible weather we had. I imagine during nice weather cruisers dont need that but they really should have made some adjustments. The staff however was SUPERB and made up for everything.

A SOME-WHAT CRUISE by Chuck293456166

Sail date: / Traveled as:
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

I thought that the evening of the waiters and waitresses in the dining room where they entertained was very boring. Also, as far as your seating time for dinner is all messed up. Granted, every one can not eat at 6pm, but, you should at least know what your dining time is prior to boarding. They had a long line of people who had on their saill and pass card 6pm seating, only to be turned away to the next seating, or, they still did not have a table assigned for you, or where a family did not have their seats at the same table. The Head waiter made an "appearance" at each table, and was friendly somewhat, but it seemed fake...seemed like he was just making hisself known to get his tip at the end.

The ship is old and it shows. Fairly rockie but very saleable. No game room outside the library. On a rainy day it is boring

Great Experience by MicheleL7

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We had a great time. The boat was not one of the larger boats but the pool area was fantastic. We especially loved the suspended track over the pool area. However, the best part of the ship was the staff. The were wonderful. I can't say enough about them. If I even looked a little like I needed help someone was there to ask me if I needed assistance even if they were busy doing something else. The only draw back was that the shows were geared toward an older crowd but they were still well done and we did enjoy them.

Fun cruise, interesting ports by NealM1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

When the Enchantment was expanded by inserting a new section in the middle, many new staterooms were added. But, the theater & main dining room couldn't be expanded, & some passengers couldn't get into the shows & had extensive waits in the dining room.

A good cruise by AT132

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

We enjoyed the cruise except for the fact you had to get in line a half of hour early for the show and then another half an hour sitting waiting for the show to begin. Otherwise you did not get a seat. The buffet had good food but the area was not big enough for the people. You always had a hard time finding a seat.. We loved the shows and the staff was always great. They tried to please you in any way they could.

Photographer's Dream Vacation by MurielM

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

This particular ship was simply charming and perfectly sized for us. We are 50ish and traveled with a parent that is 83. This ship was easy to navigate from stem to stern and top to bottom. The new Chops Grill was lovely, elegant and initimate - not to mention - yummy. The theater was extremely comfortable and no matter where you sat, you felt you had the best seat in the house. My Fair Lady dinning room was so well distributed and balanced you never felt rushed or crowded. We choose to dine in the Windjammer for breakfast each day and it was a great venue to start the day. It's placement on the ship is perfect. Allowing us to watch us cruising, docking, etc and yet offering a fabulous variety of culinary treats. This was truly not your typical buffet but more a marketfair environment with tremendous choices, tastes and opportunities to satisfy all. I have to confess - I also loved the touch of Ben and Jerry's being offered and took advantage many times during our time on board. The casino was well laid out with plenty of elbow room. We also liked the easy flow of the shops and wide open spaces and selections. The lounges offered such variety to allow us to feel like we were in a different venue every night before and after dinner. But I believe our favorite on the ship was it's Centrum which always had something going on. The design and decor in this area was simple yet elegant and once again easy to navigate. All in all a great experience for all.

A Beautiful cruise to Bermuda by RitaJ1

Sail date: /
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

The Enchantment of the Seas was a beautiful ship and very clean. They had a pool called the Solarium that was like a Roman bath. The water was salt water and very refreshing. The glass roof could move away so the pool was outside but in cooler weather if closed to keep it warm. This was my favorite spot on the ship. No children were allowed in this area. The big outside pool was noisy with lots of music that I am sure someone else would like. I enjoyed the jogging track on Deck 10. It was a 1/4 mile once around. Overall this was a wonderful trip. My husband found the internet expensive and very slow. There was an internet lounge to get internet but not enough plugs for laptops.

A Memory That Will Last Forever by RayA

Sail date: /
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

The trip was one of the best ever. The staff could not have been better, the entertainment top notch, the food was outstanding especially after I learned that they serve 1500 meals a day. I would highly reccomend this cruise line.

A not so wonderful cruise! by JanetW10

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

It was an older ship which I knew beforehand. I am used to sailing on larger ships. The rooms were small but the advantage of sailing on a smaller ship allowed you to get to know the crew better.

It was ok!!! by FrankL4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We recently sailed on the Enchantment of the Seas for the first time and at first we were not impressed. The people were not very friendly and the wait staff in the dining room was NOT good. It did get better though after some complaining to the head waiter, after that, the dining experience was MUCH better. The room staff was ok as well, we had to ask a few times to have the refrigerator to be refilled but other than that, the animal towels were there and the rooms were worked daily. The spa was the best part, my wife, Marion and I, had two Asian ladies who knew how to give a massage. We had 4 of them each. 3 of them were by the women from the Phillipines and 1 from others and the Phillipine women were amazing. They did not miss an inch of our bodies and they did stretches as well, I give the spa, these women, a 10!!!! Go and see them if you get on the Enchantment Of The Seas and tip them well, they deserve it!!! The ship overall was clean and in good shape but we hit the rough waters from the hurricane so it was rough waters and the pools were mostle closed and so were the hot tubs but that is not their fault, they did a good job of having sunny skies even with 20 plus foot waves.

Wonderful cruise by Mariat1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

It was a very nice trip. The shows in the centrum were very enjoyable. The shows in the Orpheum we did see were good. We only got to see two. The place was always packed by the time we were done with dinner. There was a place in the back for the Gold members, but that place was not always full. Yet, we couldn't sit anywhere. There were not enough bathrooms, and the bathrooms were not very clean. Especially the bathrooms near the pool. They smelled.
