It was ok!!!

Sail Date: August 26, 2010

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We recently sailed on the Enchantment of the Seas for the first time and at first we were not impressed. The people were not very friendly and the wait staff in the dining room was NOT good. It did get better though after some complaining to the head waiter, after that, the dining experience was MUCH better.
The room staff was ok as well, we had to ask a few times to have the refrigerator to be refilled but other than that, the animal towels were there and the rooms were worked daily.
The spa was the best part, my wife, Marion and I, had two Asian ladies who knew how to give a massage. We had 4 of them each. 3 of them were by the women from the Phillipines and 1 from others and the Phillipine women were amazing. They did not miss an inch of our bodies and they did stretches as well, I give the spa, these women, a 10!!!! Go and see them if you get on the Enchantment Of The Seas and tip them well, they deserve it!!!
The ship overall was clean and in good shape but we hit the rough waters from the hurricane so it was rough waters and the pools were mostle closed and so were the hot tubs but that is not their fault, they did a good job of having sunny skies even with 20 plus foot waves.

Pros: The views of the islands was the best part

Cons: The weather was horrible and the islands look the same with the same things!!!

Recommends Enchantment of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Ship Quality
Service and Staff
When we were on another ship they seemed to be more friendly, some of the people on this ship looked tired or whatever it may have been but for the most part, it was pretty good!
Shows had a lot of music, not a fanbut the commedians were AWESOME!!!!
Food and Dining
After the first nights service, it was amazing and topped of with 10 lobster tails :)
Samana, Dominican Republic
Where we were taken by the guides was horrible, the shopping was all the same, the beach was VERY small and quite not what I expected, total waste of time!
San Juan, Puerto Rico
It was ok, the beach they took us to had bottles and cigarette butts on it, not impressed with how clean but the water was clear and warm.
Don't Miss: If you like to shop, hit them, there were plenty of them!
Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)
Amazing, no other way to put it. Massages on the side of the moutain with my wife and the women who knew how to give them. They had wave runners and the beaches were clean and the water clear and amazing. We had bad weather so the wave runners were closed but everything else was simple amazing, PERIOD!!!!!!!!!
Don't Miss: The beaches and activities but mostly the MASSAGES!!!!
