Review summary

I thought that the evening of the waiters and waitresses in the dining room where they entertained was very boring. Also, as far as your seating time for dinner is all messed up. Granted, every one can not eat at 6pm, but, you should at least know what your dining time is prior to boarding. They had a long line of people who had on their saill and pass card 6pm seating, only to be turned away to the next seating, or, they still did not have a table assigned for you, or where a family did not have their seats at the same table. The Head waiter made an "appearance" at each table, and was friendly somewhat, but it seemed fake...seemed like he was just making hisself known to get his tip at the end.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Not much of a varity, more like home style cooking than anything else.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
I have always felt that R.C. was an "older type traveler", which I am...but I am not over the hill. I do not feel there were "fun" activities. You have your usual bingo, a few dance classes, 70's night, a men's belly flop in the pool, but outside of that, and kareokee, and battle of the sexes. But that was it. Not much to keep you moving and wanting to get involved. And the night club was more for people in their 20's, and the music on deck 5 I think it was , was more for people in their 60'sand older.

Children's Programs

not many kids on the ship due to time of year, so didn't see much except face painting, and halloween party.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

I felt that the deck 9, which had the pool and windjammer was lacking cleanliness. Tables were always dirty, with other's cups, and plates laying around.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room was always clean, fresh towels. Seemed like our room steward never slept...he was always there in the area, and made a special effort to stop what he was doing to say hi and ask about your day.

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

Went to Horseshow Beach for a few hours...was WONDERFUL! Water was cold at this time of year, but weather was like 80 degrees. Took a bus there for 12.00 for each person that you can buy on the ship. You can choose to rent an umbrella and chair for 10. each, or just use your beach towels to save money. The bus drops you off at the top of the beach. Walk down to beach is ok, but going back up could be hard for some. But there is a shuttle bus that will take you back to the top for 2. each..for us well worth the money. We then took a bus into Hamilton for some shopping. By the way, the bus tickets we bought were for 1 day, so you could ride all day long, and take the ferry on that day pass. Island very clean. Bus ride is an experience. I would recommend you do as much as you can in the one day, then to chance doing more on the second short day. Ship leaves at 1pm, and you wouldn't want to risk a bus or ferry breaking down, and not being able to get back on time.
Don't Miss: The BEACHES!

Pros: Dining room staff

Cons: entertainment
