Review summary

Although we have cruised several times before, this was our first time with Royal Caribbean. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent experience.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent. It would have been nice to have the fruit and light snacks available 24/7. A late afternoon snack had to be pizza, hamburger, hot dogs, etc.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Do we really need loud music in the pool area just outside the buffet dining at 6 am when most people have gotten up to watch the sunrise or enjoy a quiet time.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was clean and everything was in working order. Our major complaint was the need to walk through the smoke and noise of the casino in order to go from one end to the other on that deck.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We never felt cramped. Every available nook and cranny was utilized so that we had a place for all our "stuff."

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

Pros: The ship personnel were exceptional. The facilities clean and in working order. The stateroom provided us with plenty of nooks and crannies to deposit our stuff.

Cons: The apparent abandonment by drink waiters of people on the promenade deck even though they were stumbling over each other in the pool area taking drink orders.
