The first thing you notice is that is a mammoth ship. Then the smiles and pleasant staff to help you get to where you are going. Sign in was very well organized as was departure. Every member of the staff was wonderfully helpful, kind, and professional. The shows were high quality and plentiful. The food was plentiful and delicious. A wonderful experience!

I've read all of the cruise reviews regarding this ship. I guess people just have to complain. I found the ship, the crew, the staff, and everyone on this ship to be excellent. Everything was perfect.

old ship needs updating

The ship was nice. not enough different types of entertainment on board.

The ship was excellent, with friendly proffesional staff, good food, and great entertainment and activities.

it was a wonderful experience, especially for a first timer like us. all the services extended to us are beyond expectations. the surroundings are very colorful and joyous that it makes us forget everything behind. very clean anywhere you look and go. all the shows are fantantic, the performers are really professionals and all the crews and staffs are very accomodating and polite. we really feel very special. we truly enjoyed every bit of it and looking forward to another cruise adventure.

Everyone was very friendly passangers and crew staff. Entertainment was great, food, activities!

It did not seem to us that their employees were very happy and not properly trained. We moved two times at the pool because of smokers and the pool attendant said they we allowed to smoke. The drink waiter told us we did not have to move because smoking was not allowed around the pool after we had just asked a pool attendant if guest were allowed to smoke where were sitting. We only saw our room attendant 1 time during a 9 day cruise and that is only because we called his number for shampoo and cream rinse and he only brought us one bottle of cream rinse and told us shampoo was in the dispenser. We were on the same cruise last year a D1 balcony as this year and we saw our room attendant every day and never had to ask for shampoo and cream rinse. RC has cheapened their loyalist program so much this was the first time we did not book a return cruises while on board. WE are going to try a different cruise line since RC are not loyal to us and they have seriously diminished the quality of service provided in their effort to save money so I might as well switch to a cheaper cruise like Carnival. More bang for my buck. The mixed drinks were horrible and we had to check every receipt because they would charge us for drink of the day even when we ordered a beer. Bar service horrid. Bar tenders seemed to only want to wait on the single girls out of Baltimore. We stopped going to the bar tender in the Solarium because he hated white people, and I was afraid of him because seemed mean and hated to make frozen drinks. The wait staff bringing drinks around were great though.

I have been on seven cruises and this was the worst. The entertainment was dull. The DJ did not interact with his audience. By 11:00 PM the ship was dead. Every night the club had 6 people max at 12:00 midnight. After the last dinner you were hard pressed to find something good to eat.. The hamburgers were dry and the bread was stale. The only redeeming quality is the port of calls.

Overall a good cruise, our first. Kudos to all the staff with the exception of our stateroom attendant who appeared not to want to pay us the same attention as others got, no towel animals or personal service. Food was excellent, we met so many nice people, staff and passengers, dont know why we haven't done it before.

First class from start to finish!

The Enchantment, while older and smaller than most of Royal Caribbean ships, was still very much a ship you'd want to sail. The entertainment directory and activities manager are really involved and provide graet entertainment. The captain of the ship is very informative. The staff is always patient, always willing to acommadate you and willing to go out of their way for you. They are the most pleasant people and some whom are unforgetable.

Good value for the cost

enchantment of the seas , we had a wonderful time loved the port of calls and the entertainment was great , the meals in the dining room was wonderful, the windjammer was ok but trying to find a table was big pain , not nearly big enough for the amount of people

Just returned from a trip to New England and Canada on Enchantment of the Seas. I truly enjoyed the entire cruise experience, not to mention that our weather was outstanding. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The entertainment was top notch every evening. ..we actually saw the Temptations and the most amazing magician and juggler to name a few. The Captain was available and friendly with all the passengers, answering many questions. The activity directors were energetic and there were a vast variety of activites for everyone. The Windjammer offerred a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner selections. Our evening dinner was a bit early for me ( 5:30pm ). I would have preferred 6 or 6:30pm, but there were so many to feed, I understand the time factor. They did have any time style dining times available and I guess i could have opted for this oncIe I was on the ship...but I didn't want to rock the boat as they say. Vacation Outlet I believe listed the time for early dinner as 6PM so this is what we thought was happening. Another little glitch was that even though we linked our reservation numbers on line for seating with our friends, this was not the case. We both were seated at separate tables for 6. The head waiter was able to accommodate us by day 2, so that did work out. Overall I was very impressed with the service, the staff, the food the entertainment..yes our rooms were small, biut we spent very little time in our rooms. Hightlights included passing under the Key bridge, the Bay bridge and leaving Boston harbor while planes were landing overhead. The ports of call were very interesting. Enjoyed the history and the shopping. have beautiful pictures from this very special cruise. Thank you RC...would sail this ship again without hesitation.

Very clean, wonderful Captain and staff

This was our sixth cruise and it was an excellent experience.
