Review summary

Overall a good cruise, our first. Kudos to all the staff with the exception of our stateroom attendant who appeared not to want to pay us the same attention as others got, no towel animals or personal service. Food was excellent, we met so many nice people, staff and passengers, dont know why we haven't done it before.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
So much food, but no pressure to attend, My only gripe is with the second seating at the dining room, preventing us for attending the evening entertainment

Entertainment

1 out of 5
From what little I did see appeared third rate Vegas style acts, no shows as such.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Totally committed, especially considering they work for seven months none stop for a minimal wage.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It was so evident the ship was constantly cleaned and maintained, the staff are totally committed to keeping the ship the best it could possibly be.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Despite the poor service of the cabin attendant, the room was clean and comfortable, not as small as I was led to believe. I would have preferred a balcony, but late booking prevented this

Ports of call

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
The highlight of the cruise, the ocean wasnt that good for snorkling, but the amenities were plentiful and well maintained and staffed
Don't Miss: The dragon rollercoaster and jip line

San Juan, Puerto Rico

3 out of 5
Had to visit the fort, but don't take the free trolley bus, its quicker to walk up to the fort
Don't Miss: The fort

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

3 out of 5
Typical tourist port, unless you have more time to investigate more than the markets and bars
Don't Miss: The mountain chair lift for the beautiful veiw

Samana, Dominican Republic

3 out of 5
Palm trees everywhere, but passengers didn't seem to stay on shore for long

Pros: The Staff and their commitment

Cons: The Photographers, and the nickle and dimeing of passengers
