Oh How enchanting! by TaniaC1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was quite the experience. As first time cruisers, we had no idea what to expect- but what we did find was more then I could have hoped for! Everything from the staff, to the ship was excellent! We had the time of our lives and will be sure to spread the word on this website and the cruise line that we went on... You have made this couple believers in cruising and will surely make another trip!

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I got very sunburned the 1st day so had to see ship dotor, very expensive and then had to stay in cabiin most of cruise. Very little on televison. I know most people dont do this but would be nice to have option. Also seems food selections have decreased, still very wonderful but less extensive.

A great crew by NancyS34

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We had an aft junior suite. It was worn out but we really love an aft balcony. Bed uncomfortable and couch a fright. I think we would have liked the ship more before the stretch. It added more people. The pool area is a very strange set up. The pool band was very good (Heatwave) but the stage is right in front of the pool and totally disconnected from the dance floor. The band got so heavily splashed by the kids they had to stop playing to dry off their instruments. It's a poor layout. The disco is a poor layout with a very small dance floor and lousy DJ. It seemed to be so crowded. Must have been 3 people in every stateroom. This was our 5th cruise with Royal Caribbean and the cutbacks were very noticeable. No body lotion or any extras in the suite. We were given a returnee coupon booklet only to have the "buy one get one free drink" coupons turned down. I guess we just didn't care for the crowd. Formal night was not taken seriously and we wondered if people even looked in the mirror before they left their cabins. I think we need to step up to a more sophisticated cruise line. This cruise was probably ok for a first timers or families. For empty nesters, it was a bit boring. I got mowed down on the stairs by teenagers racing on the stairs. I guess you might say I've been on better cruises.

What a great time we had! by MichelleP4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We had a very positive vacation on the Enchantment of the Seas. It was extremely relaxing, we had tons of time to rest, play and enjoy the wonderful entertainment/dining. We loved the Piano Bar, the Viking lounge, and had a fun time at the casino. The casino staff took the time to share some of the rules with us "rookies" which was very appreciated. The Solarium was a hit for us as we were celebrating our anniversary (kids-free) and enjoyed the option for a peaceful adult zone. We found that the Enchantment staff did an excellent job managing the area and ensuring a peaceful setting for those it was intended. We love the wine package....we had not used that option in the past and found it to be stress free and full of quality choices. All in all, we had a very positive experience and would recommend the Enchantment of the Seas to any of our friends and loved ones. A great place for couples and appeared to have several wonderful programs for families as well.....perhaps we'll take the kiddos along on our next Royal Caribbean vacation after all!!

A great cruise by TerriS5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was my daughter's first cruise experience. She had a great time and can't wait to get her friends together to plan a cruise. It was a great way for a mother and daughter to spend some quality time together. We enjoyed having spa treatments and indulging one another in some well deserved luxury. Our evenings were spent with couples we met on board and we have formed long lasting friendships with 3 couples. The dining room staff and meals were our favorite time - later in the evening we enjoyed the disco. It only lasted 4 days but it seemed like we packed a lot of activites into those days. I would highly recommed a cruise for a family vacation.

Can't Wait To Sail Again! by DeniseD3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was my first cruise on Royal Carribean so of course, I was comparing everything about it to a previous cruise on another line. This recently remodeled ship was beautiful. I liked that from the middle, on each floor, you could see outside. Our cabin was a good size and comfortable for two adults. The dining room staff was excellent as well as the food that they served. Our room steward's service was also excellent and she was very friendly, remembering and calling us by name. I enjoyed the shows onboard, that comic magician was hysterical, don't miss that one! I felt that there were ample activies offered during days at sea and there was always something to do; In five days, we still didn't do it all and we did alot! Even the photographers all had great personalities. Overall, comparing this sailing, I think that my cabin was roomier than the other line, food choices were more and better & the ship was more open allowing you to see the water around you which is what cruising is all about! Thanks for a great trip, I'll be back soon!

PERFECT 1ST CRUISE! by DorettaM

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Everything was great. So much food - all of it (and I sampled most) was delicious. The exercise room, the pools, all of the activities, and most of all the people who served my daughter and me made it memorable. I have talked to many people and we all agree--ROYAL CARRIBBEAN is the way to go. Our waiter and dining experiences were superb. The room attendant was pleasant, efficient and even printed out a birthday card for me. What a great 1st cruise! Thank you.

Despite the food, room service and how the cruise line mishandled the illness/COVID procedures I think is was a wonderful experience.

A great and memorable first cruise! by rockrchick

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

My family greatly enjoyed our first cruise experience. The cruise director, Carly, was very bubbly. There was plenty of food, leisure time, and beautiful sights that made this a relaxing trip. I unfortunately contracted norovirus towards the end of our sailing.
