Review summary

It was a fantastic cruise for someone who just wants to relax.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation out of Baltimore was one of the smoothest I have encountered so far. We took an Uber to the port, got dropped off and less than 20 minutes later was on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Overall the food was good. The windjammer had decent hamburgers, MDR had some good choices. I would have rated 5 stars but the quality of some meats have gone downhill. The steaks in general was really tough to cut even when ordered medium rare.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
If you like trivia then this is the cruise for you! Even with being a smaller ship they made sure to have something to do. My wife and I are crazy for The Quest and were super excited they brought back the team format.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The ships stage shows were good. We really enjoyed the love and marriage game show. My only complaint about the shows is the volume of microphones for a few of the singers was really loud. There were two comedians for this sailing, Phil Tag was really funny but George Kanter was awful.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service and staff was fantastic. We had the best wait staff, Oka and Vedasto deserve a raise! Our cruise director Eric was also really good. Everyone did a fantastic job!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
For an older ship she had some rough spots but overall it was kept really clean. The layout was super easy to navigate. Will be sad when they retire this ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was great, it was clean and didn't have any odor to it. I was pleasantly surprised to see the bathroom have sliding glass doors for the shower!

Ship tip

My one piece of advice is just enjoy your trip. This is one relaxing ship. You will never feel overwhelmed by activities or people. Also, don't be afraid to speak to your dinner mates, everyone was super friendly and nice and you will see them all the time!

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Disembarkation was great, was off the ship in 15 minutes. My only issue with it was when we tried to take an elevator to the 4th deck it was locked out so you couldn't get to it. Only 2 elevators were able to get on to that floor. My guess was for safety reasons.
