Review summary

This was a busy cruise, tours are early and tend to be physically demanding, sea day was greatly appreciated.

Embarkation

Usual Mediterranean flow, showed up early they were not crowded or busy so we got on 90 minutes sooner then we had planned.

Food and Dining

The restaurants were great, staff are excellent food is very good, minor issue with seating in the main restaurant the person responsible was new to the job and was replaced midweek. we ate in the steak house four times in the two weeks we were on board (back to back cruises). Unfortunately choices got very limited in the evening10:00-11:00 on the pool deck they shut down the water machine so you have to go to one of the bars below to get anything.

Pools are good but as usual get very crowded .

Entertainment

The shows are fun, not first teer but fun, the guest show (Shadow show, juggling/plate spinning and mind reader) were surprisingly good.

Service and Staff

Despite being one service a day everything was very clean and they are easy to get hold of for requests and one offs. The wait staff are amazing Baristas to specialty restaurants new your name and learned your preferences in a couple of visits. The admin staff not always as coordinated I had to check three times to arrange my transfers at the end of my cruise.

Ship Quality

The ship is great, some of the areas are a little older in style the wear and tear is actually not bad I have been on the Allure, Wonder and Freedom and it is a very well kept ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

The rooms were fine I had an inside quad cabin no cooler and the beds were very low, couldn't put a closed suit case under the bed. Very quiet and not as dark as I thought it would be.

Ship tip

Learn the ship layout and take your time, there were a lot of "NEW CRUISERS" on my cruise and not everyone gets the etiquette of common areas, buffets or restaurants.
