Review summary

Went on this cruise with an extended family of 11. Based on what we experienced, we all agreed that our family would not be doing this cruise again. Activities for teenager and younger was limited.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Getting on the ship was okay. I don't even remember someone welcoming us on board.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was generally good. The sit down dining was better than the buffets. Waffle cones for the soft serve ice cream would've been better.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools - too small and crowded Rock Climbing - we did this most days as that's the only activity on board the kids were able to do. Not much activities for teenagers and younger on board the ship Trampoline - Lines are too long, only open for short time from 4-5:30. Open only 2 days. Kids were only able to go one time. Fitness Center - At least the hour for the fitness center was open long enough to make use of it. Would be nice to open til 11pm. But 6am-10pm works.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The performers were pretty good. Not as family friendly where you can take kids to most nights.

Children's Programs

2 out of 5
Kid's didn't enjoy the onboard activities for them. Not much available.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The assistant waitress Leah was very good. She was friendly and always had a nice smile. Makes going to the sit down dinner enjoyable.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Staff did a good job keeping the cabin clean and our family member's adjacent cabin clean.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

3 out of 5

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Nassau was kinda runned down and all the warnings online and coworkers whose been to Nassau was correct. Going on vacation is suppose to be relaxing which shouldn't involve constantly being approached everywhere as you walk to the beach. One section of the beach has bottles littered everywhere.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

4 out of 5
Nice day at the beach.

Key West, Florida

4 out of 5
Interesting place to visit. Very relaxed place.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Exiting was fast because we had already checked in with CBP at Key West. It was messed up that Staff told our family to move along instead of getting water at the water fountain saying there was nice chilled water outside for us. Once we got outside, we realized he was lying and there was nothing for the passengers and the kids were all thirsty.

If you check the itinerary of the cruise ship you're going on they will tell you if it's kid friendly and what activities there or for them

Disney sounds like it’s just for you

Try Disney or Carnival which are more family friendly and have great kids programs.
