Review summary

This ship was the worst... The rooms and room restrooms have an odor, even the elevators smell.  The elevators also make buzzing sounds.  The food was HORRIBLE and unfresh in every cafe except the main dining room.  There weren't many options.  The rooms were sooooo outdated, the only thing I really enjoyed were the staff and the shows. Never again! back to Carnival for me.

Trust me, Carnival has the same issues on smaller/older ships. And they aren't nearly as customer oriented as RCCL

Please go back to Carnival.

This is one of the oldest ships and I would bet that an old Carnival ship would be pretty bad against others in Carnival's fleet. We have been on Enchantment a few times and would rather be on a Freedom class, but always loved the staff on Enchantment. The CD is great we feel. For us, if the price was right we'd do an old ship again (it would still be better than being at home) but would rather belly-up and save for a better ship. Did you go to Coco on your cruise? That usually offsets any negatives we might experience on Enchantment.
