Review summary

When I booked with Orbits in this cruise for 4 adults it didnt have the option of having 2 separate cabins like i wanted for 2 couples so we end up in one disable cabin that had 2 bunk beds on each side of the main bed which has no privacy and had to share the bathroom with another couple. No happy with how Orbits arranged the tip at all.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
This is an older ship so the dinning area looks tired and the food was ordinary in the main dinning rooms.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5

Entertainment

3 out of 5
No so good with their band entertainment selections, hardly had any newer songs sang and seems like the same group performing everyday.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Service counter personnel having difficulty communicating with passengers due to language barriers, Im wondering why they cant assign personnels who are English profficient to make communications easier.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
like ive said earlier, this is an older ship; rusts can be seen on the outside, inside and in cabin bathrooms. The carpet in the main hallways looks faded and tired.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
The cabin was clean daily and sometimes twice by the designated housekeeper but still looks tired with rust on bathroom fixtures and cracked tile grouts which has been patch with calked that looks bad.

Ship tip

Cancelled Cococay destination so we only has one distination to visit and spent a lot of time in the open ocean until we docked back at Port Canaveral.

Sorry your cruise accommodations were not great - however don't you think this would be a review for ORBITZ and not Royal?

Yeah, whenever you book a cruise through orbitz or other third parties (trivago, expedia, etc) you have to call them to arrange 2 rooms under one booking. They don't have those options online, but honestly they're about the same cost as booking through the cruise line because they end up adding booking and extra fees. Sorry your cruise went so bad :(

Next time book directly through the cruise line instead of a 3rd party.

2 separate bookings...

We have found the best way to book a cruise is through AAA. Have never had a problem with room, dining, or anything. Sorry you had these problems.
