Not so wonderful cruise

Sail Date: November 24, 2008

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Suite

When we arrived to board the Enchantment of the Seas we arrived with 6 people, 2 of which were children. The ships cards used to purchase items on the ship had to be punched to indicate they were minors. We had to board the ship, wait in another line at the Ship's customer service desk, get the cards punched, then leave the ship and go back in line to have the kids pictures taken. We were then surpised that only my 2 of the 6 cards actually worked. We had to go back during the cruise 4 times to finally get the rest of the cards activated. Very frustrating experience. The cruise itself was good, except Belize is really nothing to see. Ship's dining room and bar staff were terrific. Very friendly and accomidating.

Pros: Restaurant and bar staff were great

Cons: Administrative Staff were less than desired

Recommends Enchantment of the Seas? No.

Food and Dining
Food OK but staff wonderful
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
room a bit cramped for a suite but clean and comfortable
Service and Staff
Service staff wonderful, administrative staff poor
Belize City, Belize
very underdeveloped. Security an issue.
Key West, Florida
best stop of them all
Don't Miss: Sloppy Joes and Hogs Breath Saloon
Cozumel, Mexico
much improved from two years ago
