We had the best time aboard the Emerald Princess! We recommend this cruise to anyone interested in going to Alaska.

WE enjoyed our cruise from start to finish. Staff was very professional Albert our steward was friendly, Tayson, Juliet and Anna were willing to go the extra mile for they guest.

Having grandkids traveling with us, we were a little worried about the norovirus on the ship. But due to the great staff and service workers we were very happy. The ship was great, a lot of entertainment, activities, etc., but most of all we were so lucky to have great weather all through the cruise.

Fantastic excursions and scenery . The trip up Tracy Arm Fjord was the highlight of the cruise. Watching the Captain rotate the ship 180 degrees in the narrow fjord right below the glacier was amazing.

The waiter serving dinner had 18 people. A table of 10 kept ordering drinks so he was constantly getting their drinks. Our dinner always took over 2 hours. I do not blame the waiter but do blame his boss for not seeing what was happening and providing him with some support.

The trip was fine. I do have to say the one person that stood out amongst the rest was Henry or stateroom attendant. he was pleasant the entire time of our visit attentive and our room was always kept very hard-working Pleasant man.

My daughter and her boyfriend are so pleased they are planning their wedding and will be having their wedding on a Princess cruise. Thank you PRC for another amazing experience.

It was a fantastic 10th anniversary...thanks to every one in the crew...from the captain on down.

We won’t cruise Princess again. Our room was “upgraded” to a worse room, even after having made a big deal over needing rooms near my father in law’s room. They upgraded us without informing us and refused to switch it back. This made it VERY difficult to keep track of him, and he’s aging. This was super frustrating. The upgrade was a serious downgrade also. We set up an acknowledgement and gift for our anniversary, and never received it. Even after asking about it again, we still never received it. And we were over charged for our couple’s massage. When we pointed it out, they said “we will check on it, and let you know”. My experience with them had already been they never call back or follow through, so we went to the front desk to make them take care of it. We loved the ports, we were very disasitisfied with Princess and just won’t sail with them again.

I enjoyed everything on this ship except the non smoking casino nights. I have never experienced non smoking nights on all the cruises that I have been on. Consequently, I did not go to the casino on those nights.

Alaska was amazing! Every port we had fantastic weather and got to see so many things.

Take the train ride in Skagway, very beautiful part of Alaska. Our kids enjoyed dog-sledding in Juneau. Make sure you know the weather in each port so you can dress properly. Overall , we enjoyed this cruise.

Excellent Ship! Friendly staff! Our Penthouse Suite was perfect!! We had Excellent weather and it was a great Mother’s Day, Birthday and Anniversary trip. We couldn’t have asked for anything better! Dining room food and staff we’re awesome! Had a lot of fun. Our only disappointment we had was not enough theatre shows. Would highly recommend Princess!!

the food was just okay, not high quality, did not like the room service food, did not like the food in the buffet, got a massage and could not walk after that for few days, too much pressure or whatever it was in send me to the emergency doctor in the ship, still in so much pain after 4 days and my leg is swollen too. had to be on wheel chair for the rest of my cruise.loved the black and white photography , but super expensive.

We both had treatments at the Spa. The service and treatments were great. But everyone at the spa tried to aggressively up sell or upgrade everything. It was quite off putting. And a simple No Thanks was followed with additional upgrade or upsell requests. It really diminished an overall great experience. The unlimited drink cards caused confusion and weren’t consistent how they were applied or what was available.

Bring binoculars! We saw bear, mountain goats, whales, sea otters, eagle, and more. Dress in layers and prepare for wet weather. The Emerald Princess doesn't have a covered pool, though we saw more than one person braving the cold and swimming laps. Glacier Bay was wonderful complete with glacier calving. Wow! This is our second Alaskan cruise and won't be our last. If you only cruise once in your lifetime, this is the cruise to take.

this was a fabulous cruise, visiting ports in Hawaii and the South Pacific that did not disappoint. We enjoyed calm seas, beautiful scenery and traveled in style on the lovely Emerald Princess. It was spotlessly clean, the staff was polite and extremely attentive. We plan to take this trip again .

Magnificent scenery in exotic lands, ship not so much.
