Review summary

Alaska was amazing! Every port we had fantastic weather and got to see so many things.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarking out of Vancouver, Canada added an extra step with customs. If you get there early, you will be first but will have to wait in each section.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We have always been Carnival cruisers and this is our first time with Princess. We didn't think their food was as good. Their deserts and pastries however were AMAZING.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Very hit or miss with staff. Some were downright rude and others were very nice and helpful. We had 3-4 instances where staff accused us of doing something wrong, when it clearly wasn't our fault. Was taken a back several times.

Ship tip

Book the Crown EARLY if you wish to eat there. Try the Salty Dog. Check menus before going to the dining room for dinner. If going to Alaska, book the balcony!
