The overall layout of the ship was confusing. Access to dining was from only one bank of staircases and at the back of the ship. The overall decorations were austere and not appealing. Other ships I have been on had more decorations. The only way to get to some places on one floor was through the casino (with smoking).

Loved the spa and gym. Some classes cost extra money :-( Get a drink card, it saves money in the long run, when you want a coffee or soda. Staff was awesome, very attentive. Tried just about everything on board. We were matched with a family at dinner that was so nice. I've been on 5 cruises, and this is the way to go. They had movies under the stars with blankets and cushy deck chairs, popcorn was available too. In afternoons the milk and hot cookies cart came out on deck...and we loved the pizza and creamy ice cream bar the best. You won't be disappointed if you book this cruise!

Our stateroom was very small, other ships on other lines have balcony rooms twice the size. The bathroom is barely big enough to move around. Very disapointing. We went with 6 or our friends and the rooms were not big enought for all of us to get togeher. The food was strange and not very good. The ship itself was beautful, the service was just ok. I will stick to RC or Carnival the next time. We have been on over 20 cruises and this one we are sad to say was not that great.

This was our 6th cruise 2nd on Princess. Absolutely the best of the 6. All were good cruises but the previous crusies had 1 or 2 things that needed improvement. This cruise I can honestly say could not have been any better. From checkin to disembarkation everything went smooth as silk. We own a small resort in upstate NY and know how difficult it can be pull something of this magnitude off without a hitch.

The princess linerank right at the top of the cruise lines we've used the olny negective comment I have is about the beds "no support" I had a back ache every morning. other than that it was a great curise indeed!

Golf course in terrible condition for a new ship. Other then that the ship was in good condition

Initially, the Emerald Princess is very impressive. Unfortunately, the ship has design shortcomings that detract from the cruise experience.

The cruise was a nice ship but I felt the service and the food was not up to par. The ports will all good accept for St. kitts. it was a dirty Island. The pool issues and chairs is something that needs to be addressed, before someone gets hurt. The entertainment was sub par specially in the Fusin Bar.

The ship was wonderful. It looked like a palace. Ship staff did an increadible job!

The Enerald Princess is great..clean, well lit. The personell go out of their way to please you...service was GREAT. We met people from all over the world during Anytime Dining. The slot machines in the casino are tight as expected.

I recently travelled on the Emerald October 31st with family members and friends to celebrate my 50th birthday and was so disappointed with this ship. First of all buffet choice boring, entertainment lousy, staff through out ship not very friendly except for our waiter and room steward. No entertainment throughout the ship after 10:30, no music around pool during sea day. I requested 2nd seating in Januaray when i booked and got anytime dining if i wanted that i would of travelled with NCL. Meals in dining room not very good . I was very disappointed that I was going to book my next cruise with Princess in March but I think I will try a different cruise company.

This cruise was excellent but definitely the food dissapointed us, I have been in 5 cruises and this one had the worst Buffets I have ever seen and the only way to have good food was to dine at the restaurants where you had to pay extra money per person.

The ship was beautiful. Embarkation and disembarkation were very well organized as were the many wonderful tours. The food and dining experiences were excellent for the most part. Evening entertainment was most enjoyable. Very talented entertainers and very tastefully done. Daytime entertainment and activies were limited and there was an overall lack of spirit. I understand that the Emerald is a new ship and perhaps there was inadequate "service excellence" training and there were days when the smiles and friendly greetings were absent. Overall, I must say that this was indeed a trip of a lifetime which will never be forgotten. I will not hesitate to recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you.

This is our forth Princess Cruise and seventh overall. Princess far exceeds other lines in menu and amenetities. My husband and I like privacy and a table for two. We were accommodated in every way with friendly staff who greeted us by name on the first day in the Da Vinci dining Room.

3000 passengers are just too many. Embarkation and disembarkation were very annoying. I am somewhat limited in mobility, and the length of the ship was such that I got worn out just going to routine committments.

The boat was imacculate, the food was good, the staff was very pleasant and very helpful, the excursions were all fun, the kids had a blast and I won money in the casino! Also, the medical staff (not that anyone wants to visit) was wonderful also.

Very clean. Elegantly decorated. Stateroom was wonderful ( mini-suite).
