A Great Vacation

Sail Date: February 14, 2008

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

The boat was imacculate, the food was good, the staff was very pleasant and very helpful, the excursions were all fun, the kids had a blast and I won money in the casino! Also, the medical staff (not that anyone wants to visit) was wonderful also.

Pros: The ease of the entire experience

Cons: Some of the buffets were all great

Recommends Emerald Princess? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
We had a leak in our room when we first arrived after they figured out where it was and fix it and replaced the carpet it was fine.
Ship Quality
Very clean, very large ship not usually crowded
Food and Dining
Dinner was the best and the staff was the greatest. We love Noli and Gabor!
Service and Staff
My dinner staff every night would bring my son sliced up cucumber w/ bleu cheese.....it was never on the menu, they always had our drinks ready when we arrived.
Bingo was great! The art auction was fun and the casino was fun also. Lot to do for the kids on the sports deck.
Children's Programs
My kids are a little older but they had basketball, mni golf, air hockey, playstation, wii, the staff was great and they also had many art and craft things going on also.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Maegans bay is beautiful and St Thomas is clean....the streets are very narrow. Beautiful!
Bridgetown, Barbados
We did the mini buggy ride. Our tour gide Tammy was excellent! She took us to such beautiful spots and gave us alot of history and information
Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)
Relax, Relax and they give a buffet and there is a bar close rent a cabana and enjoy the sun and surf. Shopping is a little pricey
St. John's, Antigua
We did the mini boat ride which was fun but Antigua is a little run down.
