Review summary

This Caribbean cruise had 6 straight ports and than 1 sea day and then 2 more ports. It was a lot for us. But we had a great time as we always do on our time on these ships. Since the start of 2021 this was our 5th free cruise, only paying for the port fees. So if anyone hasn’t been on a cruise yet and is thinking about going on one. Do it, you will enjoy yourself and have great memories to share with friends and love ones.

Super fast, on ship in less than 20 min. Being Platinum helped a lot

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food has gotten better than the last few cruises. Princess has been Bette than carnival.

International Café

5 out of 5

Always the spot on the ship to get great food snacks and lattes.

The Salty Dog Grill

5 out of 5

Great burgers and tacos. Back of the ship on deck 15.

24-hr Room Service

5 out of 5

Outstanding, better than carnival, you don’t have to pay for most of the food or certain drinks .

World Fresh Marketplace

4 out of 5

Other than people not washing hands and cutting in line, it’s pretty basic. The food was better though. Many different choices everyday. Was a fan the the ‘tea time’ menu At 3-5pm you can get scones there, these are worth trying you will get hooked on them.

Slice Pizzeria

5 out of 5

Room service brings a whole pizza pie if you didn’t already know, and it’s free.

Coffees & Cones

5 out of 5

Ice cream is always good, the sundaes were very extreme.

Calypso Cove

5 out of 5

The juice bar is a must if you have a drink package, remember this spot.

Onboard Activities

Seems they have cut back on shows a bit. A lot of bingo, deal or no deal, etc. if that’s your thing

Casino

4 out of 5

Small, but they do keep the smokers on one side. Craps table opens to late (8pm)

Calypso Reef And Pool

3 out of 5

Cocoon is all I’m saying on this matter. If you seen the movie you’ll get it

The Sanctuary

Explorers Lounge

Good venue, right across is a aisle of couches that for some reason people go down to sit and fall asleep for everyone to see. (Hence the photo )

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Always the best part of the cruises. My friend had many problems with the flights to get to this cruise, it was a birthday cruise for her. The staff treated her well, sending flowers , candy and giving a free dinner for 2.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is great, right size of ship. Crew always cleaning.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Had a Oceanview cabin, but it was obstructed. Tried to switch cabins but the ship was full.

Ship tip

Have all paperwork and be platinum or better

Stayed at red carpet inn, about 4 miles from the port. I had read alot of bad reviews about this place but l found it to be a nice place. Only draw back was there wasn’t any places close by to eat or drink. There is a restaurant/bar next door that can be used.
