Review summary

Overall the cruise was great! I would definitely do it again. I think it would be better the second time around because I'd know how things are supposed to work better. I wouldn't be surprised at the abrupt lack of help upon disembarkation. I would probably not let our whole table be forgotten at dinner again! Which was terrible because one of our party was celebrating a birthday that night! But overall, it was fine.

Embarkation

Quick and easy!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was very good. Especially in the main dinning rooms.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Too many activities and not enough time!

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We only got to see one.

Children's Programs

I have no idea we didn't take kids along. How would I know this? This doesn't apply to me.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
For the most part it was good. We got forgotten one night at the main dinning. The rest of our party at other tables had to wait for us because we hadn't even had our main course yet and they were all done. Sad because we were seated about 10 mins before everyone else. We got forgotten several times in the regular (buffet) dinning as well. Seating is a problem at that area too.

Ship tip

Happy hour is the way to go!

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

Embarkation was great, disembarkation was a mess and an ordeal. One of our bags became lost. No one cared. People were just grabbing bags with no supervision. There wasn't adequate places to be picked up or wait for rides out. There wasn't places to sit. It was just awful. What a mess.

Ketchikan, Alaska

We were able to dock close to this port so it was nice! The town was lovely and it was a great experience.

Juneau, Alaska

Juneau was also nice.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Skagway was a fun little place. Lots to do there and a great feel for old Alaska!

Victoria, British Columbia

2 out of 5
We docked so far away everyone had to pay at least $20 for a round trip to town or else spend half of our docking time waking. This was too much! I didn't enjoy it at all. If we did this trip again, I'd not get off the boat here again.

Disembarkation

Can I give it a zero star?? It was like, "OK, your trip is over, we're done with you! No more service whatsoever! Sort out the mess we've made with your baggage on your own!" Also being herded into groups before disembarkation like cattle and made to wait forever with someone calling out groups that doesn't speak English well was frustrating.
