Review summary

This was a very enjoyable cruise. You did not ask about the stores on board. We found much of the merchandise for sale to be "cheesy", kind of cheap appearing in spite of the prices charged. I bought a pair of binoculars that were defective and had to return them. The spa staff was excellent. MOST of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food courts were great, burger stand great, Crown restaurant wonderful, Da Vinci restaurant just awful service, very slow and inattentive. Long waits between courses. Supervisors spent their time talking to each other, you could not get their attention. Waiter was surly.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Entertainers and musicians were good

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
All were excellent except for Da Vinci restaurant which was terrible, not worth the money.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
really nice

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great in all aspects. we would like a little more room, will check out mini suite for our next cruise.

Ship tip

Check your billing statement every evening. If there is any issue, you will have to resolve it with the area the bill came from. This can be difficult if you are trying to make an early morning departure and find an error on your final statement.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

5 out of 5
We like Seattle

Ketchikan, Alaska

3 out of 5
been there before

Juneau, Alaska

4 out of 5
we like Juneau, been there before too. Did a great whale watch excursion

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
we ate there and took an excursion there, very interesting historical significance, we liked it.

Victoria, British Columbia Did not visit port

it was getting dark when we arrived. Five hours is not enough time to visit beautiful Victoria.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Again, fast and efficient. The ability to walk off with our luggage greatly speeded up our departure and facilitated our early flight home from Seattle.
