Put some thought into your drawing at Animator's Palate. It'll be on display! No scribbles and make it stand out if you can.

Don't pack shampoo, conditioner, body wash nor lotion unless you need to use specific types. All already in your cabin restroom.

Take time to explore the ship, don’t be afraid of the after hours section on deck 3 if you have kids, explore in the day time. Very peaceful and gorgeous. Great photo opportunities

Review the ship map online prior to picking your room. First time cruisers, select a cabin midship to help minimize motion sickness.

Pick Disney for the ambiance, service, entertainment, and kids club. Don't expect the food to be much different from other lines.

Make sure to look closely at the schedule. The theme days aren’t highlighted at the top. By the time I realized it was Halloween night it was too late to go to the Mouseqerade Party. I thought it was on the Sea Day not on the first port day. If Disney just put the theme of the day at the top with the port info it’d make it a lot clearer. As it was for me I couldn’t tell until I saw that there were multiple theme parties/activities.

Be ready for a lot of kids of course! But this was nice for my wife and I even with no kids. There are places onboard for 18+ so can easily find quiet adult areas.

It's definitely for young kids and Disney fanatics. Would probably take my youngest grandchild (4years old). I think the other grandkids (8, 11 years old) might not get a much out of it other than being able to eat hamburgers, french fries, pizza, ice cream almost non-stop. We went to Disneyland a few days after the cruise and all the grandkids had a blast. Be prepared to spend more money on Disney memorabilia.
