As a first time cruiser, I knew Disney had me hooked!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
First cruise ever and went with my three school-aged children at that time. Embarkation was organized, safe, and characters were present for pictures.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
All inclusive except specialty adult dining and alcohol. We primarily ate in Cabanas and in the assigned rotational dining rooms. The food was fresh and we had no concerns.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
From the pools, slides, bingo, trivia, character meetings, and etc we were busy.
Entertainment

Children's Programs
5 out of 5
My kids LOVED their experiences in their clubs! From making volcanoes to baking with an actual chef from the kitchen. They had great fun with the staff. The same staff also went onto Castaway Cay.
Service and Staff

Ship Quality
5 out of 5
DCL staff members are always cleaning! The ship looked and smelled great. Also has a high CDC rating.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had a stateroom with a verandah that slept 5. Me, my sister, and my three school-age children. There was plenty of space. Split bathrooms. Sink with a shower in one bathroom, and in another a was a sink and toilet.
Ship tip
Review the ship map online prior to picking your room. First time cruisers, select a cabin midship to help minimize motion sickness.
Tags are left in room the night before. Luggage is tagged and left outside the cabin the night before. We kept our essentials. We ate breakfast at the last restaurant we had dinner at. Then walked midship and prepared to disembark to the port. Picked up our luggage off the tables then walked through customs. Our car was right outside in the parking garage. Too easy.
