Book things on ship early- no need to pay the high price of the ships excursions cabs and tours at every dock offering same excursion at far lower prices

When booking shore excursions, it will look as if those leave before the ship docks. They don't. Everything is well planned.

Go to lunch early or late

The key question to ask is, "Would it be possible to ...." Disney will fall all over themselves to make it possible.

Because the Wonder does primarily short cruises, you're likely to be a first-time cruiser. If so, my advice is "DON'T PANIC!" There's plenty of food, plenty of seating, and absolutly no need to rush for anything. Also, take the ship tour on your first day, it's a big help to avoid getting lost.

Get a Stateroom towards the middle of the ship, no engine noise and less walking to all the activites.

If your prone to sea-sickness, get a room near the center of the ship. Feel less motion.

Don’t be afraid to sail the wonder! While it is their smaller ship and the second oldest in fleet it is in perfect condition and design is great, loved it!

Do not bring extension cord or power strip, Disney Does not allow it, however this ship had plenty of outlets in the room so we didn't need it. There was I believe 3 or 4 available...

I'm 6'5" and do not fit well in small cuise room showers. Just use the spa showers!

Since we are adults, we did not care about the meet and greet photo ops with all the characters. Boy, we’re we wrong! We had a blast going from one photo op to another. Got tons of pictures of us with Mickey, Minnie and all the rest. What a great sea day!

Do not bother to pay several hundreds of dollars to get on a ugly boat to see the Dawe's Glacier. You will be able to see it from he cruise. I paid for over $400 to get on an ugly boat that served junk food and only see the glacier a little bit closer than from he cruise. I was beyond disappointed to see that our cruise was actually going to be close to the glacier. I can't believe they offer this port adventure. I was sitting and watching the Disney Cruise making almost the same journey and just to think I would have stay in the nice cruise and still get the photos of the glacier. I thought we were not going to be able to see the glacier from the cruise. I am beyond disappointed and I feel robbed. When I commented this at dinner with the family that was in my table, she told me that she was also shocked to see the route of the ship of this port adventure. She did not book this port adventure and she showed me her photos she took from our cruise and they were just like mine. She told me the crew members had a nice thing going on and were also providing blankets and hot chocolate while everyone on the cruise enjoyed the view of the glacier.

Have a great time know that you're going to be sailing with some wonderful people. If you get seasick or think you might make sure you have medicine with you but if you don't they have it at guest services for your convenience
