This was most of our party of six first cruise and we absolutely loved all of it everything was clean we were catered to the excursions were absolutely fabulous I would do this in a heartbeat again the same Cruise even there's always more to do aboard ship entertainment was wonderful the shows they put on where spectacular and of course any Disney movie is a good but Lion King was wonderful.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We started our cruise with the party up on Deck nine in the open-air. And then the rain came and it poured they shut the party down and in 15 minutes had it all going again midship inside what a great experience I could not believe they could move the venue that fast and I have us all dancing again midship
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was wonderful it was a very rich diet which I am not used to and would have preferred not so rich I've gravies and sauces but the wait staff was wonderful and was willing to work with me so I had choices that didn't include some of that richness.
Tritons
5 out of 5
Triton's was a wonderful place to have dinner we did dress up dinner here and it was so much fun they welcomed us with open arms and clapped as we walk down the aisle of all the wait staff. The food was rich some of it too rich for my taste but they never cared how much you ordered if you wanted to order the whole menu they would bring it to you even if you ate one or two bites out of each plate it didn't matter to them we didn't do that we tried to share around and eat the food that was brought to us but we never left hungry from a meal.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We did do a spa and massage one day. It was a great day and a wonderful spa and massage. Since I'm a grandma it was a little cool and rainy for the pools so did not enjoy those but my kids and grandkids did and had a ball the day they were on Jack for the pool. I didn't see much see a climbing wall don't know if our ship had one.
Spa Villas
5 out of 5
Nothing like ending a cruise with a wonderful spa day we had 15 minutes in the hot tub with the Jets going we had an hour and a half massage and then a relaxing time in the spa room with wonderful fruits and teas before we started our day on the last day of our cruise wished I would have done one on the first day also.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
we went to all three of the big stage shows the ship had to offer and many of the smaller shows that performed in the different venues all of them were fabulous Disney puts on a wonderful entertainment package
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
My grandchildren are three and five and they loved being in the oceaneers club they would beg to go there every day even if we had things planned for them so they got told no part of the time but we're able to very much enjoy the time they did see get to spend in the oceanaires club. this is a place if you need to you can drop your kids off at 7 a.m. in the morning and not pick them up until midnight. of course we wanted to be with the kids so we never did this or allowed them to spend that much time there but it was a great experience for them and they loved going there. Of course a lot of the characters would drop by and say hi and play games with them.this might be a reason they enjoyed that they didn't have to wait in line to see them they were right there playing games with them.
Disney's Oceaneer Club
5 out of 5
when you have three and five year olds that really like to spend time with their parents and grandparents begging to go back to oceaneers you have something that they are loving the children absolutely loved being in oceaneers. The characters that came to visit them excited them the lab work the different activities that you kept those children busy anytime they were there wow big kudos to all of you
Disney's Oceaneer Lab

My five-year-old granddaughter love the lab she wanted to go back there and do more lab work all the time. Thanks for providing such a great opportunity even for the littles.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I love the fact that our wait staff moved with us from dining room to dining room each evening and they got to know us and had the things we wanted on our table they're waiting for us each evening. We had a win-win staff and I think everybody on ship believe they had the best wait staff there was. I think everybody that waited on us went above and beyond their required duties to make sure that we were comfortable and happy and we didn't have to do anything ourselves but we're waited on like princesses.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was very well maintained and very well taken care of on the most part. I only had one problem one day getting off the elevator mid-ship it smelled like varnish on two different floors one floor was a lot stronger than the other which turned my stomach and made me seasick for the rest of that day I'm not sure what that was but it was not fun.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin was absolutely comfortable and very clean when we left in the morning our Steward went in clean that cabin no matter how messy we left it it was taken well care of. The size of the cabin was very adequate if you were going to spend a long time in it it would have been very small but we went to the cabin to sleep and to change clothes we were not there very often so it was plenty big enough and had everything we needed.
Ship tip
Have a great time know that you're going to be sailing with some wonderful people. If you get seasick or think you might make sure you have medicine with you but if you don't they have it at guest services for your convenience
We live in the state of Washington so visit Vancouver once in awhile before boarding ship we did spend some time at Stanley Park what a beautiful Park mini walking trails bike trails and even a horse and buggy ride.
We chose to do the bear adventure which was very fun our guide was a native man from hoonah he's fourth or fifth generation in hoonah maybe longer very nice man and we saw two grizzlies which was a great trip
At skagway we decided to do the train adventure in which our adventure took a bus up the hill up into the Yukon where we enjoyed a barbecue lunch and a dog sled ride of course our ride was with wheels since there is no snow this time of yearand then we were dropped off at a narrow gauge train which took us back down to skagway. Very beautiful both bus ride and train ride being September the colors were starting to really be beautiful and a lot of history in both the bus ride and the rail ride about that area and the gold rush time
In Juneau we went out to mendenhall glacier the fun thing about this was our bus driver to the glacier was the first cousin of our bus driver in hoonah. The glacier was very impressive I was happy to see glaciers and I'm sad to see them retreat so much.
we didn't have excursions going to the Dawes glacier we stayed aboard ship along with everybody else but we very much enjoyed the trip up the Endicott arm to see the glacier from the ship and to be as close to all the ice that has broken off of that glacier in the last while
At Ketchikan we decided to go on a scenic tours tour by boat to see old cannery and also pulled up a crab net and got some crabs out of it and then had a all you can eat crab fest what a great day and we had all the crap we could eat everybody.
Disembarkment was fine the only thing I would suggest anybody park your car at the airport and don't have to take a taxi when you get off ship. we were in line for an hour and a half to two hours before we got our taxi to go back to where our car was parked had we been parked at the airport they had big buses running to the airport that we could have got and it would have been much faster otherwise everything went very smooth.
