Review summary

Nice and relaxing. Good quality food, Mostly excellent service. Dawe's glacier port adventure should not be offered since the you can see the glacier from the cruise and the nice staff offers you hot chocolate while the ones who paid several hundreds of dollars for this port adventure were not that impressed. I wished they would have noted that we would still be able to see the glacier from the cruise and only select this port adventure if you need to see it a little closer. Good option for a photographer that needs to be really close for a photo in your portfolio.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Good quality of food and good taste

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
They were okay.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Frozen show was very good, all others seemed just a like shows that were made just for the sake of providing more shows.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
My child enjoyed the program, but he would rather be at the pool

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Our stateroom host provided the best service of all. Our dinner servers were very nice and friendly. However, I was not a fan that our head server would mostly focus on showing magic trick to the other kids on the table rather than providing equal attention. I would see him come and directly to the other kids in the other side of table than to come also as often to my child and show him a magic trick. Also, the very last night, I feel some of the crew members were already done being nice all week. I was walking with my child and asking him if he would be interested to take a photo with this particular character that has not been in the cruise during the whole week, when one of the crew members pretty much asked me to get on the line or move out the way so people could walk and come get in line if they were going to take a photo with this character. We were not even close to the character or blocking or preventing anyone from getting in line to get a photo. So, that last interaction with this crew member left me very disappointed and ultimately took my desire of booking another Disney cruise or any cruise ever again.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very nice ship. It was very clean, but not spotless.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was mostly spotless. I did find a hair or two in the bathroom from a previous guest. On occasion the toilet room would have a urine smell. Not sure why, but eventually it went away.

Ship tip

Do not bother to pay several hundreds of dollars to get on a ugly boat to see the Dawe's Glacier. You will be able to see it from he cruise. I paid for over $400 to get on an ugly boat that served junk food and only see the glacier a little bit closer than from he cruise. I was beyond disappointed to see that our cruise was actually going to be close to the glacier. I can't believe they offer this port adventure. I was sitting and watching the Disney Cruise making almost the same journey and just to think I would have stay in the nice cruise and still get the photos of the glacier. I thought we were not going to be able to see the glacier from the cruise. I am beyond disappointed and I feel robbed. When I commented this at dinner with the family that was in my table, she told me that she was also shocked to see the route of the ship of this port adventure. She did not book this port adventure and she showed me her photos she took from our cruise and they were just like mine. She told me the crew members had a nice thing going on and were also providing blankets and hot chocolate while everyone on the cruise enjoyed the view of the glacier.
