I would do this one again. This after we SWORE never to repeat an itinerary.

We had a wonderful family reunion cruise. Our balcony room was outstanding. The food in the main dining room was delicious. The other included restaurants were tasty and fun to visit. The entertainment was great. Loved the cruise and family time!!!

I am a solo traveler and first time on Princess Cruise. I am very pleased and satisfied with Discovery Princess ship. To all the amazing crew members of the ship thank you very much for providing a World Class Customer Service! I was treated like a Princess. I will definitely cruise again with Princess and I highly recommend Princess to my friends and family and for all solo travelers out there.

Overall, this cruise was very good. Princess does a lot of things very well and we enjoyed the ship and Alaska. Since Discovery Princess is new, we felt that the staff was still learning the ship and their responsibilities, and this showed up most noticeably in the main dining rooms. However, the service in the buffet was excellent. This was our second Princess cruise, and we would absolutely take another Princess cruise.

This Alaskan cruise out of Seattle was overall pretty good. I did come home with Covid though, but the discovery princess is a good ship. The cabins are very roomy, and very clean. the whole ship was very clean. The food in the dining room was not too good. The French Bistro restaurant was great! The Crown Grill was very good! The Salty Dog Grill is a waste of money as it is not good at all. The buffet okay. The buffet has some what of a different theme every night some better than others. Of course they saved the best for the last day in the buffet. Princess no longer puts chocolates in the cabin at night. The medallions are neat. The princess app works very slowly. The glacier viewing was not great on this cruise, we did not get very close to the glaciers. I now understand why it is better to do the Alaskan on a smaller ship. We were told Glacier Bay was much better for glacier viewing. We cruised the Endicott Arm from 5 to 8 AM. The entertainment on this ship is not very good at all. We used the Seattle Express to get back to the airport from the cruise terminal. I set up the baggage transfer online before the cruise with the port valet, however I found out that will not happen unless you fill out the paperwork again on the ship, so I don't advise signing up online because the port valet apparently does not communicate with the ship regarding the luggage handling.

I wouldn't hesitate to book this Princess cruise. To be honest, princess was a fall back option for us from another cruise that was cancelled on us. I had read some pretty mediocre reviews of the staff, ship, food, etc and was expecting to be disappointed. Seemed to start those expectations were being met but as time great, my wife and I really came around and started to be really thankful we found ourselves here. The entertainment, the cruise director (and staff), the food, and cleanliness of the ship along with the very comfortable bed and cabin really won us over. Michael the ship's naturist really elevated our cruise to the next level in terms of all things Alaska. We feel VERY thankful and blessed to have been on this cruise, thank you Princess!

First Alaska cruise. We had rainy/foggy weather in Ketchikan and Juneau, and our Endicott and Dawes Glacier part of the cruise was cancelled due to fog, so we were disappointed with that. The White Pass RR was excellent and the Skagway sail away were the highlight of the cruise.

This was a special treat for us to celebrate 2 milestone birthdays together on something we've never experienced. It's a lot of homework preparation, reading of fine print documents, and uploading to the Princess Medallion app. So be prepared to invest several hours, especially due to covid restrictions and if it your 1st cruise. Alaska cruises are expensive if you want to take a excursion off the ship, and the food prices will give you menu sticker shock.

I was more hopeful about the cruise. Was a celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. I alerted everyone, signed up for a special dinner and was told I would get a call. Never heard again. I called and was told the event was over. Nice anniversary gift.

The cruise exceeded my expectations. The ship was great! There were an abundance of activities and the service was great! It was wonderful visiting all of the ports!

The ship was beautiful and clean, and the waitstaff was lovely. The takeaway for me is that the food was inedible. We tried for weeks to get specialty dining reservations which were all sold out, so we were relegated to main dining and it was terrible. It was a joke to the vegans and vegetarians, in fact. Outside of VOP and Dan Austin who worked their butts off and were amazing, the entertainment and choice of activities was sub-par. the stand up comedians were amateur and lousy and had not prepared a full set. There was one fully produced show (and it was good, called Rock Opera) but I expected shows every night. the best things to do on the ship--spa, sanctuary, specialty dining--all carried extra charges. it's a shame.

My cruise was amazing, I love Princess and everything they are about. Looking forward to the next one.

First cruise, it was a good experience. I would recommend it.

This was my first cruise, and it did not disappoint! The beauty seen and experienced in Alaska was incredible! Likewise the experience on the Discovery Princess was great. Not happy about the 8 pounds I gained, did not think that amount of weight gain was possible, but I did it! The staff was great and accommodations top notch! I would suggest that the number of times folks could sign up for events like karaoke be limited to give others the chance to participate.

This was an amazing cruise and excited to travel with Princess again!

Enjoyed the cruise, loved being with family & thought Alaska was beautiful. The ship was outstanding. We were disappointed to have canceled the Endicot Arm & Dawes Glacier, but understand.

Wonderful Alaska Cruise. The ship is beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this cruise. Loved every minute.

The room and view were perfect! Clean and comfortable.
