Review summary

Won’t ever do a Princess cruise again. They dropped the ball so many times on things that I had to go to guest services for, and guest service even gave wrong directions Food was average. I had birthday and anniversary on ship, told them prior to and once in restaurant. Wasn’t acknowledged at all. Anniversary they tried and told they would send our anniversary cake to room. Never happened

Ridiculous to even stop here but heard it’s by law we go to another country. Big waste of time clearing documents and in late at night for just a few hours. Heard most excursions canceled

Sorry you didn’t have a good experience. We were on that same sailing and we loved it. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The ship was spotless. We celebrated my son’s birthday on the 16th. They served him a small special piece of cake. We never had an issue with embarkation or debarkation.

If you want someone to acknowledge your special occasion, then you need to tell them, since they can't read your mind, and if you want something special for that occasion, then you need to pay for it. Very little is free on a ship, except for the usual components listed when you book your cruise. When you go to cruise planner, then you can add extras, which are extra $'s.
