Review summary

the best cruise in years! Many thanks to the whole crew - great ship, no rocking, waiters, stewards, entertainment programs - exceeded expectation!

Embarkation

a bit confusing due to staff was struggling with new Medallion technology, but nothing out of extraordinary

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
everything was perfect, buffet area was spacious enough to accommodate everyone even in peak time

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
fitness center is impressive, used it a lot

Entertainment

5 out of 5
all the shows were excellent, Broadway level, even my "No-English" parents enjoyed them separate praise to a musical lectures by A.J.Clark and talk on Native Alaska life by Michael M. (unfortunately we didn't make a point of saving his last name, but sounded Polish :))

Children's Programs

all adults in our party

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
all the staff members looked as excited as passengers were, was great to see so many smiling faces greeting us (it was visible even thru masks that they were wearing religiously!). We were stunned that restaurant/buffet staff members remembered our names, and even speaking with us in Russian! the Juneau dining room managers Mark and Julia, and so many others that were equally great, but I don't remember the names! Another thing I could not help but noticing - the positive attitude between the staff member during their shifts. Having a bit of experience in customer service I can appreciate managers setting up a warm and friendly environment for these man and women to work these long hours! The best cruise I've been by far!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
the elevators were busy most of the time, so we used the stairs. the navigation screen helped a lot, once we start using those. Took us a day to get accustomed to ship layout.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Bedding - is the best I've ever experienced, land or sea! everything was great, nothing to complain about.

Ship tip

while trying to set everything up before the trip - using Medallion app, was disappointed that we could not pick timeby dining choices were not avalaible
