If you tried the Crown last year and were disappointed, give it another chance. It’s better now—especially the dining room fare.

As with any cruise…pack cold/allergy medicine & cough syrup. (Unless you plan on wearing a mask the entire cruise) If you want to eat in the MDR, make your reservations well in advance of your cruise. You can always cancel if you don’t like the menu.

Enjoy the journey. Keep your eyes open for wildlife and bring binoculars and/or telephoto lens. We saw whales breaching from our cabin window.

We are older, mid 70's good health. If you can get a Reserve class Cabin get it. The dining experience is superior. We also had the Premier package, where the WIFI was really great to have. I didn't really get full value out of the drink package as I don't drink much but it was nice to get a dring and not work about the costs.

Know that it’s not the newest or biggest ship in the fleet but classic and comfortable. The captain, crew and staff are first rate.

Don’t go you’ll regret it!!!

Bought a shore excursion through Shipmate. Due to a medical diversion we were unable to go to Moorea, when I cancelled the booking, I was advised I was within the 14 day cancellation window. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE!!! Shipmate found out about the diversion and refunded the tour in full!
