Excellent cruise and we had amazingly good weather apart from Juneau where we got soaked. I recommend bringing binoculars for wildlife spotting. Excellent ports and sail through Glacier Bay.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Great food and drink
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
the ping pong tables and corn hole bags need to be updated but we still played ping pong, corn hole and the put put golf course. Corn hole is hilarious to play on a pitching and rolling ship. Pools and jaccuzzis were great.
Entertainment

Stage shows were awesome and exceeded expectations.
Children's Programs

Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Small but totally adequate for 4 persons. Ocean view cabin was good even though partially obstructed. Excellent room positioning near stairs from promenade Deck 7 to Deck 8.
Ship tip
Enjoy the journey. Keep your eyes open for wildlife and bring binoculars and/or telephoto lens. We saw whales breaching from our cabin window.
City bus up to the end of the line near mendenhall glacier is a way to save money (only 2$ each way) but it is a 1.5 mile walk (paved) from the bus stop to the park, then 1.5 miles back as well, the bus is also a pretty good way to see the city. We went out to nugget falls which was raging in Sept 2024. We had rain so it was a long wet walking day. Being very cloudy we decided to not go up the tram.
Awesome Port with access to the Yukon territory in Canada. Will need passports for the border crossing. Recommend the drive up to Carcross YT and train back over Whitepass. We had a private tour which was incredible. Lots of cool scenery. Saw a bear while on board the train.
Amazing experience and the only way to see Glacier Bay is by boat. However, the Park Rangers that board act like they are talking to 1st graders so just ignore their ridiculous banter. Bring binoculars. Watch for wildlife on the way in. We stayed on the open decks for most of the day. Fog cleared to amazing views.
Another port that is doable without preplanning excursions. We walked over to the National Historic Park then back to castle hill then downtown. The gift shops in Sitka seemed higher in quality than in other ports. Salmon were running and we saw eagles.
Probably the least amazing of the ports we stopped at. You can walk to the train museum. The Northern BC museum, Sunken Gardens, Cow Bay, and hike Hays Creek all on your own. Its a good introduction to the rain forest in the area.
