I would not sail on the Crown Princess again unless I knew for certain the ship was running in top shape and itineraries were not being changed. Honestly, I probably won't sail with Princess again because I don't feel they delivered the product that I was sold.

get a table and order your drinks before you get food from the buffe so the drinks will be there during your meal in stead of after

Get to know the staff a lot of them are really cool people and had been all over the place. Also if you book through United you get a special package that includes the $70 tip for the staff, $50 for the internet and the drink package (which is 15 drinks!) all for 250 bucks. But I’d you do t use that I think the drink package is still worth it if you plan on drinking a lot on the ship.

Be adventurous and don't hesitate to try new things. If it doesn't fit what you are looking for, move on. There are so many great options, look for the best parts and enjoy the adventure.

If you are going on a long cruise with sea days make sure you near middle of ship so you will not feel the motion as much.

Sign up with princess on the emails, I have received so many offers through that process. This cruise to Hawaii without airfare cost us $370 each, and we got $200 of it back as onboard spending money. We also had the free drink package with service charge (75.00 Aday ) free Wi-Fi the whole trip and free gratuities paid to crew. And our next cruise to the Caribbean in March 2023 ( 14 day cruise) has all that stuff included that I just mentioned above for the same price.

Be sure to watch the morning news. Be sure to check out the spa deals for yourself. Make sure you want to go to the excursion location. The description may be not exactly what it is.

The buffet is always crowded at mealtime and people were very rude and pushy. I would avoid the buffet during certain hours

Stop badgering the guests about gratuities and ratings. You've implemented a system where gratuities are essentially mandatory, and everyone knows you'd prefer high ratings instead of low ones. Remember that actions speak louder than words.
