I'll absolutely go back to Alaska, and I'll cruise again. Just not on Princess.
Embarkation

Seemed very disorganized. Didn't see the purpose of electronic uploads when I needed paper everything.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Overall, satisfactory, but nothing to get excited about. The specialty restaurants were overrated and overpriced, and the desserts and parties were not as good as Costco.
Overall, the Medallion app and experience are garbage. Not a bad idea, just horrible execution. Really detracted from the experience.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
Found the customer service in the spa/fitness center to be indifferent, but the actual providers were excellent.
The activities staff were fun and engaging, but there are only so many trivia sessions and game shows one can take.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The entertainment was probably great for 70+, but pretty cheesy for anyone under 65. Overall, the quality of the performers left something to be desired.
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
Our room attendant was great. But the the room service staff left a lot to be desired... I'm not into BO fire breakfast!
Main dining and specialty servicee staff were good to excellent. Cocktail servers poor to good. Bartenders well below average.
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
The ship was like an old Las Vegas hotel. Glitzy, but don't look too close. The staterooms were old, tired, and worn. Despite what prices claims, the ship didn't run right. It was slow, noisy, and vibrated a lot. We had port calls canceled or shortened because the vessel couldn't keep the schedule. Of a 7 day cruise, we spent 2 full days, and 2 three quarter days on the water.
Cabin / Stateroom

The balcony was fabulous! But the cabin was noisy and rattled. Ship staff also failed to enforce the no smoking rule, so we missed out on a fair amount of balcony time because of smoking neighbors.
Ship tip
Try another cruise line, and definitely skip this ship.
Glacier Bay is beyond indescribable! There is nothing a poor cruise experience could do to make this anything but amazing. Major Kudos to the Park Service!
I was on the same ship in May and loved it!.. Ship has had propulsion issues all year and is scheduled for dry dock in October.. But all in all it was a very enjoyable cruise.. Entertainment was tip top, food in the dining room and specialty restaurants were very good.. I have another Princess cruise booked in January and am looking forward to it...
