Review summary

The beauty of the sights were the plus that was worth it. the food in juneau was amazing! (thanks twisted fish!) the servers were unhappy and unwilling to help in the main dining and buffet. the breakfasts got us sick! yuck! the specialty restaurants were amazing and loved the service there.

Our service and time on Crown/Ruby/Golden have been great-even with small glitches, never clouded overall trip.

I think people have different experiences. I loved the Crown Princess to Alaska and our servers were the greatest! We loved them and the food was excellent. We didn't want to leave the ship. Some people get sick just from being on a ship. That did happen ours but my husband and I have stomachs of steel so the movement never bothered us. But, each cruise is different.

I am interested in your comments about servers in the main dinning unwilling to help, in which way, they would not serve you or unhelpful if you wanted other than things on the menu? I ask as I am considering booking a cruise on this ship next summer. Also you breakfasts got you sick, was there an outbreak of sickness on your cruise?
